This mount works well with almost any on-camera or on-rig field monitor, including the Atomos Ninja Flame. However, it will require a screwdriver to attach the 1/4-20 screw mount at the bottom? Really? That's what pocket change is for, so now you have to stock a screw driver in with your gear just to secure it or remove it. How hard would it have been to design this thing with a D-ring? Secondly, the cmc machining was rough and required reaming out the screw holes where the support clips are inserted in the back. The ratchet fastener also needed to be worked over with some WD40. The branding logo was poorly placed at a slight angle on the side - which just gives me the overall impression of fast and cheap manufacturing. Lastly, I appreciate the fact that someone took the time to engineer this, but I'm so tired of getting reamed for little rig pieces that probably only costs the mfg's pennies to produce at a 5000% profit margin. By the time someone has put together a modest rig, they end up spending twice the amount they spent for the camera and the lens together. I do recommend a buy on this, especially for those people who are tired of having their field monitors spin free on their rigs all the time. However, my dissatisfaction is that if they are going to charge premium prices, take a little extra time to make sure the finish work represents what is being charged for this and no one will complain about how much it costs.
