This state-of-the-art EVF is equipped with built-in WiFi, allowing photographers to monitor and control the image from the camera directly through the Z Cam app. This feature is particularly useful for utilizing the autofocus one-shot feature, where you can simply tap the screen to focus on your desired subject. Measuring at a compact 174.5 x 76.3 x 73.3mm, the Z Cam EVF is designed for convenience and portability. The addition of a diopter further enhances its functionality, although it does add a bit of length to the device. Unlike the Zacuto Gratical HD, this EVF is powered externally via a lemon connector located at the back, eliminating the need for an onboard battery. This feature may require the use of a larger battery with a D-tap output.The Z Cam EVF is designed with user-friendly controls, featuring shortcut and menu buttons on the side. These buttons are marked with raised lettering, making it easy to locate and operate even while in use.
