It features a foam padded sleeve that ensures your camera's LCD remains undamaged and scratch-free. The flip-open hinge feature also gives you easy access to the LCD's touch screen for changing settings on the fly. The Z-Finder will hold its position when flipped open and then lock in the closed position when you are done touching the LCD.The Coldshoe mount not only gives you a cold shoe but also incorporates a small piece of Z-Rail (NATO compatible) for attaching top handles, like our Tactical handle. This is a high quality alternative to Zacuto's other C70 specific z-finder setup. This allows the camera operator to have three points of contact with the camera for better stabilization and the best part...it puts ZERO STRAIN on the screen hinge!!!! This tool solves the one thing wrong with the c70 which is lack of evf. It gets the C70 screen up to eye level and makes it usable in sunshine. It's awesome for all situations where a viewfinder is needed. Build quality is the usual Zacuto high quality engineering and materials. It's too bad the c70 probably won't be around for my grandkids that aren't born yet, because this coldshoe z-finder adapter certainly will be.
