Zacuto Z-Find-Pro3 Optical Viewfinder

I have been doing sport photography and videoagraphy for many years. I bought this unit for a Canon 7d and have used it for roughly 8 years. It is very helpful for run and gun filming as it offers more stability to the shoot because of the extra point of support on you face/eye. Your see exactly how much unwanted movement you are getting thus giving you live feed back to your filming. I also shot with a Canon Mark ll 5D in course with a gimble and HD 5 " screen, which offer tremendous results. That said, I have accomplish the same level of filming with out all the extra equipment cost and hassle using this Zacuto eye piece - with a little practice. Hope this helps.

The Zacuto Z-Find-Pro3 Optical Viewfinder is a great fit for DSLR cameras used to shoot movies. The viewfinder works very well. It is an absolute need for cameras with a rear LCD screen. Useful and attractive product.

This product does exactly what it says it does, there is no denying that. But for [$](on sale) I would expect better construction, not 95% plastic. Sure, plastic keeps it light, but so does carbon fiber. When you open the box the first time, you will be disappointed. [$]Really?Again, I'm not saying this isn't a necessary item in my arsenal, just that Zacuto has definitely been able to capitalize on the dslr hype to the fullest extent. I will look elsewhere for my next viewfinder purchase.

Couldn't be happier with this. It is almost all that I wanted it to be, with the exception of not being able to mount it with my accessory battery pack installed on my EOS 5D MKII. If there were a configuration for this, it would be perfect!
