Love these - UP/DOWN - STRONG and FAST
I have at least 4-5 sets of these. I have them on my sliders and tripods and shoulder rigs so that I can move quickly between set ups. The reason I started using these is that I use follow focus gears on my rigs, and the only way to mount and unmount the camera is going up and down. So these are perfect. Easy to load in and out. Super solid and strong, I feel way safer with this than anything else.
Zacuto Tripod Dock
Using this along with a recently purchased Mini DSLR Baseplate from zacuto. I wanted something that could allow me to take my camera off quickly from my tripod. This simple tool does the trick. There are a lot of holes on the bottom which I might use one day but for no need for them yet. Overall a wise product, saves a lot of time and is highly compatible with other zacuto products.
The Zacuto Z-GTD Gorilla Tripod Dock mounts on your tripod/monopod/dolly etc. to act as an effective quick-release for your Zacuto Gorilla Plate V2. The Gorilla Plate V2 is part of DSLR Z-Finder Pro line, the Mini DSLR Baseplate and DSLR run'n'gun rigs like the Striker and Enforcer. Quick release your camera mounted on the Gorilla Plate V2 from your run'n'gun rig and attach it quickly and seamlessly to the dock via the red quick release, ratcheting lever. The Gorilla Plate V2 locks into place with both a short rod and a locking pin. Keep a Gorilla Tripod Dock on all your equipment and never use a screwdriver to move around plates again.
