Zacuto Z-HG-C3GR Zgrip Handle with Grip Relocator for Canon C100, C300, C500

The Zacuto Z-HG-C3GR Zgrip Handle with Grip Relocator is a two-component set that attaches to a separately sold Zacuto Zgrip to serve as handles and to achieve distance-extended, chest-level handling of a Canon C100, C300, C500 Grip (which is a button-equipped hand controller that comes with the camera).

The separately sold Zgrip is an upside-down V, with each side of the V a 15 mm rod. The V connects to the front of a full Zacuto rig to serve as handle-bars for the rig and the Zgrip Handle and Grip Handle Relocator - the two components of the set you've clicked into - connect to the ends of the V to serve as handles: the Zgrip Handle connects to one end and the Relocator to the other. Since the rods of the V are long enough to reach chest level (as opposed to shoulder level), you'll be able to use the Zgrip Handle and the Relocator at chest level.

The Zgrip Handle is a standard handle. The C100, C300, C500 Grip, the camera-provided Controller, attaches onto the side of the Relocator and a 24" cable that's already built into the Relocator snakes up a rod of the V to connect to the C300. The Relocator thus provides two purposes: it allows the C300 Grip to be used on a Zgrip and allows it to be used from 24" farther than usual. (The camera Grip's native cable connects into the Relocator.) Once everything's plugged in, you' ll have in one hand distance-extended control of On/Off, Aperture, ISO, Waveform and other functions and in the other hand you'll have a s ta ndard handle an d the items in both hands will be fully articulating until locked in by lever.
