Good build quality. I've been using it to mount a Teradek wireless receiver to a client monitor and it's been great.

There used to be a medium arm that was the perfect size. GONE! This is WAY too big and the small one is too small. Sounds like a story we grew up with. Sorry

The Zamerican Arm is incredibly well manufactured, always rock-steady and the ultimate weapon for all ?more individual?, but even all common mounting options. Honestly - I was pretty much spoiled by using Manfrotto arms already. They?re really good but the Zacuto Arm (as an add on to one of Zacutos Masterpieces - in this case the ACT Recoil Rig) - is even more brillant! Due to Z-Rail mounts on both ends it easily attaches e.g. to the cage?s side or the Zacuto Tactical Handle without any twists or turns. You set it up high/low or simply anywhere within the reach of the arm and it stays there. No client or assistant will ever be able to ruin your setup by pointing to hard to your monitor :-) - it?s simpler to carry your whole rig on the arm. No kidding - I?m using the Zamerican Arm primarily with a pretty heavy Blackmagicdesign 7? 12G Monitor (got myself a second Mini Z-Rail Mount to be able to mount the Zamerican at the top and at the bottom of the monitor, which gives me even more flexibility) together with my beloved Zacuto BMPCC ACT Recoil Rig. In many situations my ?old? Manfrotto Arm really just slipped away due to gravity or improper (3rd party) handling. The Zamerican Arm solves this problem perfectly. Besides it?s even a little bit more comfortable to adjust - the perfectly designed, ergonomical center screw acts on the middle a little bit earlier than on the ends - so adjusting it is somewhat easier too - compared to the competition. Conclusion: one more professional Zacuto masterpiece that makes your every day production live so much easier and your rig much more reliable!!! Operation is silky smooth and even the ratio between weight and stability couldn?t be any better!

I've been using Zamerican arms for well over a decade now and these new ones are great for interchanging accessories quickly. Having the Z-Rail mount also lets you have more flexibility for exactly where your mounting point will be and this lets you balance the rig with more options. I have a few different lengths of Z-rail that I attach to the camera top plate or side plate and then can have some options on where to hang monitors and accessories. I also have a few of the Mini Z-Rail connectors and leave them permanently attached to the different camera top monitors that I might want to use. Good for mounting any accessory that has a 1/4 20 connection point.

I was looking for a solution that was small but flexible enough to work with my current Zacuto system- this is just that. It's a great articulating arm that I use primarily for my Teradek wireless setup on my cage. I also own the large version of this- equally great.

This is so so well made it’s insane. I’ve worked in the machinists and manufacturing field many years. This is top notch American made and designed. So easy to use and setup. The thing liked the most is it’s built to accommodate high end products. At the moment I have a plastic low quality build monitor. This will change but the Zacuto parts will not.
