This Z-Mount has many practical applications. I bought this to replace the Sony swivel on the FS7 viewfinder. 
 The native swivel only has one lockdown and loosens everything, causing the viewfinder to flop, and requiring two hands to fix it. 
 This Zwivel fixes the problem, letting you adjust rotation separately from rod angle. 
 A good solution of high quality and exquisite design, reliable and durable in long term use.
