Zacuto RED EVF Recoil Gratical Eye Bundle

- RED EVF Recoil -
The RED Recoil rig is a shoulder rig designed specifically for the RED DSMC2 body, which includes the Raven, Weapon, Epic Weapon (Epic-W) and Scarlet Weapon (Scarlet-W), Monstro, Helium and Gemini. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a shoulder mount rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. The Recoil rig adjusts for that balance point and relocates focus, monitoring and camera controls forward, creating a lighter, shorter and properly balanced rig.

VCT Pro (Z-VCT-P)
The Pro baseplate has a sliding top plate for quickly removing the camera from the rig or fast lens changes, a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 screw included). It has removable and extendable 6.5" iris rods and rows of 1/4"-20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. It has quick release 15mm rod parts in the rear. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens. It has the most comfortable gel padding shoulder pad for all-day shoulder mounted work! The baseplate. The rod riser included on the VCT Pro in this kit is taller to accommodate the RED cameras.

RED Top Plate (Z-RTP)
It is designed to work with the RED DSMC2 body, which includes the Monstro, Helium and Gemini. It attaches to the top of the camera via four included 1/4"-20 thread screws. It has numerous 1/4"-20 screw holes on the top and sides for attaching various accessories. There are built in POGO connectors for the RED monitor and remote trigger accessory connections. You can also add Z-Locks on the front of the plate for adding top 15mm rods for mounting motors, etc. At the back of the plate is a vertical 15mm rod port for mounting a Zamerican arm or other 15mm rod accessory.

Top Handle (Z-STH)
It is a slim design that fits comfortably in your hand. It gives you the ability to mount several accessories with the built-in 1/4"-20 screw holes, Z-Rail on top and a cold shoe mount. You can also add an optional 15mm Rod Lock for mounting an Axis Mini or articulating arm.

3" Z-Rail (Z-ZR3)
It attaches via (2) 1/4"-20 screws (included) that are spaced 3/8" screw center to center at their closest to 2" 5/32" at their furthest. This is used to attach our Top Handle.

Shorty Trigger Grips (Z-SHTG)
The Shorty Trigger Grips are 8" dual wooden handgrips that are comfortable and quick to flip into position. The Shorty Trigger Grips slide onto 15mm rods. They allow for single-handed 360 deg. rotation with the simple press of a trigger. The two handles rotate independently of each other. Flip them down for a low, rock-solid handgrip. Raise it up for more of an Aaton style.

- Gratical Eye -
The Gratical Eye SDI electronic viewfinder is the smallest and lightest of our Micro OLED EVFs. It fits in the palm of your hand and weighs only 14 oz. This is an ideal SDI EVF solution for filmmakers using professional cameras and external batteries. The Gratical Eye has a 2 pin LEMO power jack and a single SDI input. A 75Wh battery can power the Gratical Eye for 14 hours! Mount the Gratical Eye to your Next Generation Recoil via the 1/4"-20 rosette on the side with an Axis Mini.

The Gratical Eye Micro OLED electronic viewfinder uses an extremely powerful FPGA dual core processor and the latest Micro-OLED displays to provide a hugely expanded contrast range. Our Micro-OLED display supports high pixel density with unparalleled resolution, true blacks, gamma and contrast range. The Gratical Eye has 5.4 million pixels on a 0.61" diagonal screen no bigger than the size of your thumbnail.

You'll be amazed with how sharp the image is. The internal field of view is just the right size so that the image is large, but not so that your eye has to roam to see the entire image at once. It features a built in -1 to +4 diopter range and Zacuto's patented essential anti-fog coating formula. It never fogs in humidity or freezing temperatures. An auto-closing eyecup door prevents sunburn display automatically without any action by the operator. Along with the full suite of Zacuto EVF firmware (full scopes, LUTs, multi level peaking and more), the Gratical Eye has two unique features - an external tally light and a proximity screen saver.

- Axis Mini -
The Axis Mini is the most adjustable ENG style mount for rosette mounted EVFs, giving you full 360 deg. motion with four adjustment points. Designed to attach to the top of your camera set up, it leaves plenty of room at the lens for focusing and will work with the widest of lenses. It can easily be adjusted with one hand while the rig is on your shoulder. The Axis Mini has extensive articulation for use with a variety of cameras, both shoulder mounted in a Next Generation Recoil or in tripod operating position. It is very small and quick to install and remove.

The Axis Mini attaches to your rig via a required 15mm rod port at the top of a kit positioned perpendicular to your camera lens, see recommended accessories. Slide the Axis Mini into the 15mm rod port and clamp into place. The Axis Mini attaches to the Gratical HD via a secure 1/4"-20 rosette mount. EVF's with a 1/4"-20 screw mount require the Quad Rail for use with the Axis Mini.

The Axis Mini has three red tension levers that are controlled independently with 360 degree motion. Release all three levers to completely reposition the mount or release just one to make single segment adjustments. You can dial in the exact amount of tension needed at each lever to adjust on the fly. Just grab and move.

- Z-Rail Axis Mount -
The Z-Rail Axis Mount is perfect for mounting an Axis Mini. It gives a 15mm quick release rod port that is perpendicular to the Z-Rail. It works well with the Canon C200 Top Plate, RED Top Plate and the EVA1 Top plate. If you choose to use the camera's handle instead of our Recoil Handle, this gives you the ideal rod port for mounting the Axis Mini, EVF Mount. The rod port also comes up from the Z-Rail at a 45 degree angle to bring it farther forward and up for an optimal mounting solution.
