Zacuto EVF Recoil Kit for the Sony F5 and F55 Video Cameras, Includes VCT Universal Baseplate, Zgrip Z-Mount Zwivel, F5/F55 Top Plate

The Zacuto EVF Recoil shoulder-mounted rig includes VCT Universal baseplate, a handgrip and F5/F55 specific top plate with a wide array of accessory mounting options. It is compatible with the Sony F5 and F55. This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.

VCT Universal
The baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 screw option), removable, extendable 6.5" iris rods and rows of 1/4" 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mounts offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.

Zgrip Zwivel
It is a fully articulating handgrip. Attaches to a single 15mm rod with a swivel mount that can be set at multiple different angles for comfort and ease of use.

F5/F55 Top Plate
The Top Plate attaches to your camera frame for infinite mounting options. Provides multiple 1/4" 20 and 3/8" 16 mounting screw holes and includes a quick release 15mm Z-Lock port, a single 4.5" female/female rod and Recoil Handle. The rock solid Recoil Handle top grip accepts two coldshoe accessories and has a quick release 15mm rod port.
