I have had this same product multiple times. Each time, the keyboard gets gremlins in after year... like not able to use certain keys and the forward slash key starting automatically and not stopping until the batter drains. I have not found another similar device, so i have replaced it again. I only recommend this if you don't mind replacing it. ZAGG wont help you - you need to buy it every 1 to 2 years. Great tool - but unreliable

Typing on the keyboard is smooth. The keys are spread out, and they don't stick. It's a nice compact keyboard case I would recommend to friends.

Amazing product for EMS Use! We have a number of these for our iPad Airs that get used daily for EMS as our primary means of completing patient care reports. This product is fairly priced and works very well, while keeping our iPads well protected. Highly recommended. My only wish is that the iPad battery would trickle charge the keyboard.

I've been using this keyboard for a number of years. Typically the hinge is what causes me to need a new keyboard, but I feel like the benefits far outweigh the negatives. I use it a good bit, so plastic wears out over time!

This is my third rugged book which shows how much I like it. The keyboard is like having a laptop or computer keyboard ? so very comfortable to use. It's also a great protection to your IPad if you drop it as it's strong and sturdy.

I have used Zagg products for two decades. I have thoroughly enjoyed everything I've purchased up until five years ago. What happened? I have tried to purchase and use the ruggedized folios and they have consistently failed when the keyboard stopped working properly. Likewise, the hinge has failed. Not the hinge on the keyboard, but the part that holds the iPad. Apparently it's all rugged except for that. I can tolerate problems like this, but when I go to get service. I feel like I'm in a toilet bowl of customer service whirling in circles until it finally dumps and leaves me with nothing. This is the 21st-century. If you can't develop the customer service model That provides full service then you need to put live people available. What happened to Zagg? My most recent purchase was a nod to the fact that your products are good up and the other ones are so inferior that I don't even want to look at them. The failure to provide good customer service is a killer. Please look at your online system. Either you have failed to test it at all or you have failed to develop adequate use case scenarios for the test. I'm completely frustrated and disappointed. He'd look at your history and find out where you went wrong.

Love this new Rugged Book keyboard/case! Bought it to replace my last one, which I had 8 years and used for about 3 hours/day before the space bar started acting up. This new one is even sturdier. I love ZAGG products - very well-made and built to last, and they stand behind their product. I'm very happy with everything I've purchased from them.

In a former version (sized for 10.5), the pen holder was on the keyboard. On this version (sized for 11) it is on the top of the screen. Its present location is inconvenient and gets in the way. When reaching into my briefcase for the iPad, it is too easy to flip the pen out of the holder and (in my case) into oblivion.

Overall pretty good. Tough (certainly protective), good keyboard. Biggest drawback is that the space for finger ID is too small to do a fingerprint completely, so it doesn't work. Also a little bit on the too heavy side.

It is very difficult to Adjust the angle of the screen. It is very easy to detach. In fact it detaches when you try to adjust it, even though you don't want it to. It's made of hard plastic that may very well protect it but still feels very cheap. I would love to return it, but my guess is with the cost of postage, I won't get much of a refund.

Recently had to replace my ZAGG Slim Book Go. As with anything there are always pros and cons with change. The big pro with the Rugged Book Apple iPad 10.2" is it takes up less space without the extra piece out the back for the stand. The con for me is that it's quite heavy compared to the other one I had. I didn't really need something this rugged. Would have been nice to have another option to choose from. Having said that, if I ever drop it, I won't have to worry! Overall it is a very good product?just a little heavy for my liking.

Zagg is the ONLY ipad case that I will buy. It is sturdy and the screen actually stays upright in place. I have large hands and this keyboard works well for me to type on.

Excellent iPad case. It seems very heavy duty and I like that I can remove the keyboard so the kids can use the iPad when we're in the car. The only downside it that it makes the iPad heavier but I do gain protect and versatility.

Very pleased. Keyboard works well, very durable case. It is worth noting how loud the keyboard is (I.e. in meetings or class, this can be distracting). Also the tip of the USB cable broke off - but I had another one and was able to charge.

This functions very well, but the keyboard could have a softer touch and be quieter. The unit is quite heavy, but the protection for my ipad is great! Hopefully the joint between the keyboard and the ipad cover will be more durable than my last one!!

The case feels very durable, but the hinge is useless. Opening the case with the IPad was fine, but trying to close the case caused the secondary case to continually snap off the hinge. This is a very poor design if you're trying to emulate a laptop that can open and close easily. I boxed up and returned the case within 5 minutes of use due to the hinge's poor design.

This is a very sturdy keyboard cover for a new Apple iPad Air. I would say though, that it has added a lot of bulk and weight to something that began as slim and lightweight. For me, that's a bit of a negative. I'm pretty sure you could drop, but never break, your iPad with this cover over it though.
