Zagg Pro Keys Wireless Keyboard & Detachable Case for 12.9" Apple iPad Pro, Black

I have owned several Zagg keyboards for the past 10 years and have always been happy with the product and the company. Not any more. I recently purchased the Zagg Pro Keys reluctantly because they no longer offer the Rugged Pro for the 12.9 gen 6 ipad. The Pro Keys I received did not charge my apple pencil which is something I use daily for my graphic design work. I contacted Zagg customer service within 1 day of receiving the item and noted it did not charge the pencil. I was told that sometimes the rubber thickness will inhibit the connection and that I could return it to them - AT My Cost. For a defective product???? When I questioned this I was then told if I had Purchased the warrranty I could then return it to them for a replacement. So I would STILL have to pay Zagg for a defective product?! I'm thoroughly disappointed and will never purchase another Zagg product. The Defective item has been returned AT MY cost. It's clear that the company who purchased Zagg does not have the same consideration for its customer as the original Zagg.

I have had this for a couple of weeks now. Previous keyboard was the Apple Magic keyboard. The main thing Zagg has going over the Magic is the holding of the Ipen. If you have a $130 pen, you do NOT want only a magnet holding it on. What is Apple thinking? The Zagg keyboard has a nice touch to the keys, easy to type. They also light up. The Ipad can fall out when you are trying to do this on your lap, but not like the Magic keyboard. The battery seems to last a long time. You can also hear the audio better with this compared to the Magic keyboard. I got the one without a mouse pad because I don't use that a lot and was always accidentally hitting it by the way I type.

the old cover had a built-in stand in the case. As such I could separate from keyboard, take to a restaurant and have it stand on its own. Now when separated, there is nothing to help it to stand up. The new cover for the Air pad gen 6 was no improvement for me.

I was excited to finally get this keyboard for my iPad. After finally receiving the keyboard (after the second order), I was highly disappointed when I unboxed it. It immediately felt cheaply made, but I remained optimistic. Once the case was on and paired, I went to log into my iPad for the first time. The letter "S" broke off the keyboard ON THE FIRST USE! Needless to say, I'm done being a Zagg customer.

First off, this case is awesome, keyboard is great(backlit and multiple colors and brightness), case itself feels protective, and secure, also secures the Apple Pencil, which is a definite plus. Previous to this case I had a competitor case, which the keyboard kept falling off, and case felt not as protective, and did not secure the Apple Pencil. Also other cases I have found to take up a lot of space, if you travel and find yourself on airplanes this case is perfect. Some other cases do not require to charge but with the long battery life on this one do not let that sway you, battery life last an estimated 12 months, I have had mine for a couple months and have yet to charge it. Overall very happy and would 100% recommend.

This is a nice keyboard however, it is heavy and is tippy so the iPad falls off. Magnets allow two spots for the iPad to sit making it hard to pull it apart and close. iPad 12 is big and heavy anyways so this feels very heavy to travel with.

So I recently purchased this KB, I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. I would have preferred more color choices of the material itself. The light up keys was one of the factors I was looking for as well as something that feels sturdy. I was not disappointed by either. I love that I can change the color of the light up keys as well as have 3 settings of brightness for each. As far as sturdiness, this keyboard states it has a 6 foot 6 inch drop rating. I have no intentions of testing it, but have no doubt it would hold up just fine. I like that my ipad has its own case that surrounds the edges, I do not like the idea of just a magnet holding it and hope like heck it is safe. The KB case in and of itself is a little weighty. Plus the added weight of the tablet itself does not help. But, overall the KB case is great, pairing was a breeze, and IMO a worthwhile purchase.

Received the case and was unable to get the keyboard to turn on to link to Bluetooth. After following instructions and the power not turning on, I figured the case needed to be charged. Not a problem?go searching through the box confused why a charger wasn't included and figured it may have gotten left out. I reached out to customer support as now I'm unsure if the case doesn't work or isn't charged and I have no way of knowing since the charger wasn't included. Customer support tells me that for "environmental reasons" they chose not to include a charger since it's the same charger used for the iPad. That's where I have an issue. If this was a cheap product, sure. I actually told the agent that they are able to pull this since it's an apple product and their consumers are so used to "environmental" excuses why chargers for a $1200 phone aren't included and need to be purchased separately. Shame on zagg, for the price you charge for this product, a charger should have been included.

This keyboard works well with the new Apple iPad Pro 12.9 inch (M2) tablet. Connects well and the magnets are strong enough. Apple Pencil attaches and charges with no problem. I like the security loop for the pencil. Love the backlit keyboard. Makes the tablet a little heavy and thicker but all that is to be expected. Great to type on. Well worth the money and the protection of the tablet.

When I received the first Pro Keys Keyboard, i couldn't get it to work. I phoned Zagg right away and they replaced the keyboard which is now working great. This has to be one of the best keyboards that I ever had. It protects my iPad pro as well. Hopefully i won't get the chance to test that out. I highly recommend this Keyboard

After months of perusing keyboard cases for my new Ipad 12.9 pro, I finally decided on this one. It's lightweight if you need for travel, and the features like the higher keys, super easy connectivity, and backlighting are great. The only reason I could not give it 5 stars was because I find at times, depending where you sit and prop this, particularly with the LARGE 12.0 IPAD, this thing tips! Wish there was some sort of inner reinforcing panel or something on that magnetic side. I realize you have to sacrifice function for it's weight, but it's tipped over a few times - so BE CAREFUL and ONLY use this on a table/secure flat surface and NOT on your lap! But, nonetheless, a great purchase.

Solid yet flexible case is everything I expected, and the keyboard solved my typing errors when trying to hit the tiny virtual keys on my phone. The magnets hold my I pencil securely. The extra weight is worth it.

Very responsive, long lasting battery and great feeling keyboard. The case is very protective and the pencil holder slot with flap is very accommodating. I would give this unit 5 stars but, it is very heavy and not the best for lap use. I've somewhat adjusted to both issues but wasn't sure I could for about 2 weeks. If you are going to use this on a table top, it's a definite purchase. If you are a lap user you will just have to try it out and decide if you can or cannot go with it. Because it is so heavy I purchased on Amazon a carry sleeve/case/zippered pouch for when I take it in the car or on travels. That way I am far less likely to drop my ipad.

This is a nice case, with a very good keyboard and good device protection. It is heavier than I had been led to believe, making this on par with a lightweight laptop. But for me it will be handy when I need to use the screen for markup and also have keyboard needs.

First things first, great price. I am getting used to the key pad along with the power on button.(it just flashes- when you press it). The buttons for the key pad power source is a nice feature.( wish it flash on the screen-some how??). Maybe some different colors for the case,would be nice. An maybe add a cable for charging would be nice also. Overall a great product, I would buy again and recommend it to others to buy.

Very nice product, well made and works as advertised. My one complaint is the same for all keyboards except Apple, it is too heavy to travel with, so I just don't take it on trips. I like the magnetic back so much better than the previous clip in one. I have not dropped the keyboard so cannot vouch for the strength.
