Questions & Answers

Shopper : I have a canon 40mm pancake lens. Is this pouch too large? If so, Any recommendations for a good fit?FRANK U : This pouch fits lenses up to about 4 inches long. That pancake lens is about 1 inch tall. So: you could fit another apple (or two) into the pouch: way too large. I know of no really smaller one, though; Lens Coat makes one 3 inches deep (x-small) and still way too big. What I have done in these cases is to buy a pair of child's socks and stick the lens or the pancake teleconverter into the doubled up socks.LEE T : I don't think it would be too big. I keep my 85mm f/1.8 and it's perfect.JOSHUA B : This is too big for a 40 pancake lens, enjoy the 40mm pancake a sharp lensSTEVE F : This pouch is much to large for a pancake lens, I use mine for an 18-135mm lens
Shannon M W : will this hold a 50mm lens?DAVID R : It holds a Nikon 50mm F1.4D, with folding rubber lenshood, and also have used it for Nikkor Teleconverter TC20E-III, either with much room to spare. A larger lens would fit easily. The pouches are fine. Consider also the folding wraps with Velcro patches. Recommend different color materials in order to easily grab the optic you want.FRANK U : Yes it will, even with a hood in place. It is a very wide bag, so - unless your 50mm lens is verrrry long, it will fit. I have a Zeiss f2/45 mm lens in one of these, with adapter to fit on NEX and with hood ...KEN H : Yes, I keep a 50mm portrait lens in one and a 30mm macro lens in another. Room to spare.VP63130 CHAN CH L : YesKATHRYN F : Yes....It will definitely hold a 50mm lens. I originally bought it for my 50mm lens, but now use it for some accessories (remote, card reader, etc. I instead ordered the Adorama case below (same price): Adorama Slinger Soft Lens Case Small, 5" High x 86mm Diameter, Black The difference for me was in the great padding in the slinger case. I now have 4 of them. I use them to secure my 2 teleconverters, 50mm, and fisheye lens. Again, love the padding. Hope this helps!NICHOLAS C : I have used it both for a 24mm Canon lense and a 50mm canon lense. It fits both without difficulties. It is protective for either lense.RANDY H : It will.HENRY G : I use the 5" Zing pouches to protect my Nikon primes 28mm, 35mm, 50mm & 100mm. They fit great and do the job for a very reasonable price. If you have more than one it would be helpful to have a way to label the lenses.LINDA E : yesSTEVE G : It would depend on which 50mm you have. Smaller DSLR lenses and just about any rangefinder or mirrorless lenses should fit. The size given should tell you.JASON R : Yes, and is easy to carry alongJANE S : Yes. I have my Canon 60mm macro in mine and there is still room.JOSEPH L : Most likely this pouch would hold a 50mm ones but there are many many 50mm lenses of many many different sizes. You should be able to tell by looking at the dimensions of your 50mm lens and comparing them to the dimensions of the pouch.NYCOLE P : Yes it does. That's what I have mine in. Love these bags. I have one for each of my four lenses.JEFFREY R : 50mm lenses come in many different sizes. Most should fit fine, but I'm sure there are some that would be too large. Measure or look up the specs on the lens you want to put in the pouch.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?DAVID B : Simple need for protection fujifilm 16mm lens.BRUCE H : It appears to be perfect for small wide-angle lens.MARTIN A : Size and price is where I wanted them to be and liked the color coding at the top of each size bag from this mfg.PATRICK G : I have two (2) and I love them. A bargain for the looks and quality.

A must have to protect your lens.

I'm pretty protective of my equipment and would never leave a lens loose, and unprotected when not in use.

Great protection for lens

These pouches are great when you want to protect your lens but do not need or do not want a more rigid lens case. There is enough padding to provide protection. The pouches are strongly made and I have never had a problem with any of those that I own. The price is also right!

Perfect for my needs.

I purchased this mainly to hold my ballhead, which would not fit in my tripod case attached. I wanted something to protect it from being damaged or scratched while in the case and this bag fit the bill perfectly. Excellent construction and padding.

Super Soft Pouch

This pouch is really soft and the perfect size for keeping the lens and cap together on the canon 15 2.8 fisheye.

Multi purpose Zing Drawstring Pouch features color-keyed stretch lycra top hem that allows the drawstring to slide smoothly and cinch tightly. Can be used in a bag for extra padding, worn on a belt through the reinforced web loop, or clipped to a bag, strap or belt using the sewn-on plastic snap hook. Hem colors allow color-coded organizing.
