So in full discrepancy, I have not used the Smooth 5S for very long, but at this point I am very happy with it. It's packed with a ton of features so it will take some time to fully determine if its as awesome as it appears to be, but it works as advertised and the user interface and ergonomics of the unit are superb! High-Five!

Combo or bust

It's definitely "smooth," like butter. The stabilization is better than expected. I love options which this gimbal has. Built in lighting, (tint gels, if needed,) the light is BRIGHT useful at night, but can be adjusted. Multiple apps that works with it, ( best panoramic photo I've taken,) love the tracking subject feature, used the most. Also can mount to a tri/ monopod which makes too easy to get different angles. I'm glad I got the combo package mainly for the case to protect my gear, but the little extras put a smile on my face when I used them. I just wanted to get smooth videos I got a whole lot more. Wow!
