This light has way exceeded my expectations. The build quality and quality of output from the light are exceptional, especially for the price. The size of the light makes it extremely versatile. I've been loving pairing it with the Zhiyun 85cm lantern. It can easily be mounted overhead, say over a tabletop even in pretty confined space because of the small and flat build of the light. I can't recommend this light enough to anyone! Whether you want to use it direct as hard light, bounce off of a ceiling, bead board or ultrabounce, or pair it with a lantern or soft box you can do sooo much with this light!

This small light is insanely bright! this thing is seriously impressive. If you need a ridiculously bright light in a super compact, easy-to-pack form factor, this is it. I never have to worry about where I'm going to place it because it fits literally anywhere. It's small, but it's brighter than a 300D. The fan is practically silent. I don't care what mic you're using- you're not gonna pick it up. That's a huge deal when you're filming, and I love that I don't even have to think about it. For what you're getting-insane brightness, portability, and versatility at this price point-it's kind of a no-brainer. If you're looking for a light that won't weigh you down but still delivers massive output and versatility, this is THE ONE

I just dove into the Zhiyun light products in 2024. I have a bunch of their lights that I've mounted on our studio ceilings. I had seen a lot of YouTube videos featuring the Molus G300 for documentary filming, and they seemed fantastic. Being a documentary filmmaker, I knew I had to pick one of these up. I'm very impressed so far. The fans are great, and quiet. The brighter mode kicking this up to 500W is clutch. And just the amount of color accurate output this light has, let alone the small form factor is incredible. I'm excited to put this to heavy use this year.

The dials for adjusting brightness and color temperature are smooth, tactile, and far from feeling cheap-there's a premium feel in every detail. While I haven't purchased a softbox yet, I plan to get one soon to further enhance the lighting's diffusion and versatility. Overall, the MOLUS G300 is a fantastic piece of gear that balances power, design, and functionality perfectly. It's an excellent investment for anyone looking to elevate their video production.
