Zeiss Comfort Camera Strap

When UPstrap, my favorite camera strap manufacturer ceased production of the line of straps that I use, I searched for a great replacement. Not a good replacement, a great replacement. On a whim I ordered this strap and have been quite pleased with its functionality, comfort, and ability to securely keep my camera in a cross body position. Since I have cervical vertebrae that twinge at the slightest pressure, I am picky about what I place around my neck. No problems with this strap, at all. Since I am but 5'2" tall, it is difficult to find straps that suit my height. This does. I am a fan.

Extremely comfortable even with large and heavy lenses. Padding distributes weight very evenly.

Not very comfortable. I carry a Nikon 850, the weight of the camera caused the straps to slip out of the fasteners. Caught it just in time

I got this Zeiss strap because I use a Nikon D800 with a Zeiss Milvus 85mm f/1.4 lens. The lens is quite heavy at 2.7 pounds, and the standard issue Nikon strap was really cutting into my shoulder. This Zeiss strap is perfect for such a heavy rig. It has a lot of padding, whereas the Nikon strap has none. If you like to use heavy prime lenses like Zeiss, this is the strap you want. Very well made and at a great price.

After 2 weeks of Gorilla, Chimp, Monkey, Safari and other activities in the steaming forests of Uganda and Rwanda, I am so happy to have the Zeiss Camera Strap around my neck in place of the Canon strap which was irritating my neck with all the sweating and sun tan lotion while climbing with a back pack after the mt gorillas. I was NEVER uncomfortable. Highest rating. :)
