Lens Cap in search of a lens

The cap is sturdy enough; it's just that I so far don't have a lens it fits: most of my Zeiss Ikon/Contax/ Contessa lenses are either 40.5 or 27mm. But maybe one of my upcoming East German /Soviet lenses will fit (?)

Zeiss quality

I am not generally in the position to invest in a quality lens like the Zeiss Milvus f2 50mm Makro Planar. Having done so and intending to protect this very useful investment it seemed obvious that only an original Zeiss product would serve to replace the lens cap provided with it that I misplaced. Of course I found the missing one. I'll rest easier now knowing I have a reliable backup.

High priced but works marvelously!

I intially bought this out of vanity. I mean, who doesn't want to show off their Zeiss glass with the corresponding logo cap? But I realized something after I replaced the generic pos cap that I have been using. This cap fits better, it doesn't fall off, and it's easy to remove all at the same time!

Good Stuff.

I have a few lenses that I got used and they had the cheap caps on them. I got tired of them coming loose and decided to get good ones. Leica wants twice what these cost and aren't a bit better. It's great to be able to tighten the cap on the lens and have it stay that way. Very good product.
