The Zildjian Buffed Bronze cymbals utilize a patented pattern of holes in varying sizes to reduce the sound pressure level (SPL) of an acoustic cymbal. These cymbals are then amplified via the Direct Source Pickup and Digital Cymbal Processor to create the acoustic/electric sound. They can be used with hybrid kits to develop new textures or electronic kits to capture a real cymbal feel versus playing on rubber pads.
