Maddie M : i only have 2 cable jacks - can i use a 2 way splitter with this unit ? there are 2 tv's hooked up now & want to use the splitter or do i need to run another line to the unit?MITCHELL W : I'm not sure - I'd contact your internet provider to see if that will work.ANDREW R : Theoretically, it is possible to use a splitter in some cases. The splitter must be "bi-directional" in order for it to work. I would recommend consulting with your cable service provider for confirmation and also for suggested makes/models of splitter that may be compatible with your service.
Shopper : What is the differnce between the MPN 5350-00-00 and 5350-00-03? I cannot find any info on this. Thank you, JohnANDREW R : Unfortunately we do not currently offer the 5350-00-03 so I am unable to compare, however that particular part number appears to be a revised version of the 5300-00-00.
Neil G : Is this product compatible/compliant with Charter internet?MITCHELL W : Yes - that's the service I use. And it's currently getting about double the speed of what they say I should be getting. The guy installing it said the Zoom's sometimes have trouble but I've hooked everything up, including using the 4 ethernet ports and I'm happy so far.ANDREW R : This cable modem should work with Charter internet. Charter indicates that they are compatible with most DOCSIS 2.0 and DOCSIS 3.0 compliant devices.
