16x9 Inc. debuts the new ExII 0.6x Wide Attachment, the company's first HD-quality wide attachment designed as a single-lens element. The single-elementdesign significantly reduces weight compared to other wide attachments using three or four lens elements, a critical advantage for camera operators shooting handheld.

The ExII 0.6x increases wide-angle coverage by 40%, a must for shooters operating in tight quarters. In designing the wide attachment, 16x9 Inc. paid particular attention to minimizing barrel distortion. All single-lens elements have very limited zooming capabilities, however, the ExII 0.6x makes partial zooming possible with cameras that have auto focus capability.

The ExII 0.6x Wide Attachment offers a compact and lightweight design making it ideal for handheld applications contributing to a reduced load and helping to better balance the camera on the operator's shoulder.
