Zeiss binoculars are the platinum standard, in my view, for high quality binoculars. These particular binoculars were a Christmas gift for my fiancee, and they fully met my expectations. The resolution, precision, and color rendition/correction of these binoculars are exceptional.

These are a great binoculars. The third pair I have purchased, all for relatives who are birdwatchers. Recommend them for anyone, beginner to expert birder. Light, bright and sharp!

I bought these for hunting so I can see across canyon without being blinded by using inferior optics. You can go cheap and you can go expensive. I have not been sorry I got these. I use a bino harness and added split rings to have enough room to mount a strap. The lens covers got traded for another type, but that's not enought to give them a demerit
