Jay L : Are these binocular good for hunting?STANLEY P : Like Joe wrote, anything labeled ZEISS falls under the "alpha" category, and delivers fully for the extreme sums you'd need to fork over. Surely, they would meet nearly anyone's hunting requirements.ALLEN L : I don't hunt, just wander the woods but yes, they would be a great asset for hunters.Lcso A : They are good for anything where you - the user are moving around - thus the gyro. We use them for spotting from a helicopter where they take most all of the movement out. At just over three pounds, they are a bit heavy for packing on a hunt.RONALD D : Yes, for both ends.Craig M : It may not stand up to hunting in the Rockies, but for upland game or fishing it should work well.JOE T : Jay, those are the best binoculars for anything including hunting.
