Efficient Cooling, Superior Image Quality
The two-stage TEC cooling system lowers the CMOS sensor temperature by 30 Degree C-35 Degree C below ambient, effectively reducing dark current generation. Even during long exposures of several hundred seconds, noise remains minimal.
Low Read Noise, High Dynamic Range
The camera has a built-in HCG mode, which can effectively reduce readout noise at high gain and allow the camera to maintain the same high dynamic range as it does at low gain. When the gain is 200, the HCG mode is automatically turned on and the Dynamic range reaches a level close to 12bit.The readout noise is as low as 0.7e.
