This tripod has everything I was looking for in an upgrade to my travel tripod; very light, folds small, sturdy, good capacity, Arco compatible ball head, and affordable.

Don?t pay a king?s ransom

Very sturdy for how small it is. I mount a Mamiya 645 on there no problem. If you need something extremely sturdy that will hold up to wind and large long lenses with heavy bodies, this obviously isn't it. But for an all-rounder it is hard to beat. 

One thing to note, if you are doing panoramas that require precise pan measurements, this one is not for you even though it has the pan markers. The pan and ball head share the same lock, so undoing the pan lock will also loosen the ball head, moving your camera.

Great inexpensive premium tripod.

This tripod is just what I needed for an advanced photography degree. I had never shot from  a tripod before. This one is inexpensive, quite light and easy to use. It also comes to my eye-level (a huge factor for those of us 6+ feet tall and will hold my weighty camera bodies and lenses. The included ball head is another reason this tripod should be a pleaser. While I will still hand-hold most of what I do, I now have an alternative!

Great choice for its price, maximum height and weight capacity, and included ball head.

Not going to get too in-depth, but I really enjoy using this tripod. Solidly built, seems durable, very lightweight, and multiple ways to break it down into a compact form for travel. I wouldn't use it for product photography or architecture, but for landscapes and stationary video cameras I love it. PLUS it has an arca-swiss mount. Other tripod manufacturers - WHY DO YOU EVER NOT USE AN ARCA-COMPATIBLE MOUNT? Thank you 3LT for not hating your customers and using some idiotic, proprietary mount like some other brands.
