Best tripod I have ever used and I use it multiple times every day. I am a real estate photographer. No downside to this one.

I really like the stability of this tripod, I shoot with a Canon 6D and often times use a 70-200mm lens and it holds it like a champ. The unit folds down pretty compact. The ball head is even pretty nice, I was worried about it being so small but I've not had a problem with the ball head just had to use the key tool to tighten a few places when I first took it out of the box and that's it. I shoot Senior and Family portraits and love it for that and took it on vacation a few weeks back and use the tripod and monopod setup and it worked like a champ.

I purchased a 1st generation "Eric" from 3 Legged Thing back when they came out. I was out to get the sturdiest, and largest tripod the company had to offer, and at the time, Eric was it. I have been nothing but pleased with Eric through the years. My Wife also purchased the 1st generation "Brian", after she had used mine, and she, much like myself have become in love with the brand. So just recently, when I was in the process of upgrading my gear, I knew I would be checking out 3LT to see the latest they had to offer. Not realizing the updates and upgrades they had done over the years I was pleasantly surprised to see an even bigger and sturdier tripod in there new Equinox lineup named "Winston"! Must say they have looked over every detail over the years and made an even better, bigger and stronger tripod and still managed to keep the wait down. I would recommend 3 Legged Thing to anyone, and look forward to many more enjoyable years with my new 3 Legged Thing.
