Quality and Function

Pretty good but could be better
The Ergotron HX Dual Desk Monitor excels in appearance and form (it looks really good installed on the desk!), but unfortunately it doesn't do as well at function. I have 2 Apple 27" Studio Displays, and the mount doesn't hold them up very well (when I raise them monitors up, they sink back down to rest at a lower level). I can manually raise the monitors to a height of about 12" above my desk but the highest I can get my monitors to sit is about 4.5" above my desk (measured from bottom of monitor to top of desk surface), which is disappointing. Also, the mounting on the back of the monitors that connects the monitors to the mounting arms is sloppy, and the monitors move around on their mounts easily when touched or repositioned. This makes it really difficult to keep the 2 monitors at a consistent, level orientation to each other (one monitor always seems a little higher than the other monitor, or slightly rotated in comparison to the other).

Cheap design at a horrible cost
I got these arms specifically because they said it would support two 32 inch screens. I am a disabled vet on a limited income, but I needed something that could handle larger screens. This sags and does not support the monitors even though they are far under the weight limit. Better to get fixed arms at a much more reasonable price.

Monitor Review
I love the dual monitor support the stand provides. It's very flexible and sturdy. The setup makes me much more productive.

Fantastic Monitor arm!
Love this monitor arm. I have both of my 32 inch screens hooked up. The cables are neatly tucked away, the arm has so many positions. I have one screen horizontal and the other portrait to get the maximum usage. I can switch the orientation without skipping a beat.

Solid construction, looks great
Very well built with excellent quality parts. I do wish the monitor clamps had a set screw to take some of the play out of them. Setup does take time and patience if you want it perfect, but it's worth it.

Great product but challenging instructions
I had a tough time with some instructions that are not as clear on paper. There would be a great benefit of providing instructional videos vs. the paper copy. Other than that, great product for my two 28" monitors.

Great, but not perfect.
The majority of the stand is fantastic, everything is sturdy and secure. The connection for the monitor is unfortunately wobbly though. Just turning on/off on the monitor tends to jiggle/rotate the display.

Great Product
This is an awesome product. Assembly and installation was easy. Mounting to my desk was straightforward as well. It is easy to adjust and mount my monitors to. Would purchase again.

Definitely recommend this monitor stand. I've used at least a dozen over the last decade and this is the best yet - specifically because it's stable but can be easily moved around throughout the day.

Great for 2 27" monitors
It holds the weight of 2 large 27" monitors. It doesn't wobble much and is easy to setup. The only con I have is that with so much weight even on a very stable desk, it does lean and is somewhat difficult to move.
