I'm usually a big fan of the GLOW line of products; however, the way the adaptor just slides into 3 slots on the back with only one screw (which was missing from both shipments and each piece was shipped seperatly) I am unable to use until I can try and find a screw that fits to hold the adaptor in. Have a feeling that even at that point it isn't going to be a tight fit and will most likely rattle. The metal is good as is the over all shape. The inner disk is only held up by tention rods and there is wobble there, could possibly pop out if bummped or if using outdoors and moving around quickly. It would be very difficault to locate one of the rods if they were to fall out while using on location.

Awesome. I wish I had purchased this a long time ago. Nice soft light but with more definition than a softbox. I almost use it exclusively with the soft cover, and in my product photography work I see much more texture and detail in the products. Very, very nice. Great quality too.

Soft even light. Can add a grid to control the spill of the light. Can also add a diffuser to the front to make the light even softer. I also used the Glow Arch strip softbox to fill in the shadows underneath.

Like the sturdiness as compared to a soft box bc of wind situation . The white plate that covers strobe has very unsteady rods that won't tighten and plate keep falling off . I had to use der clips to hold it on but that looks tacky when I remove the white cover if I need a tad more light and the clips also pop off often. A little annoying .

Beautiful light quality. It also is much more stable in winds than a soft box. It is my main modifier both outdoors and in the studio. I recommend the white interior for most portraits.

Works absolutely fine. Good specular highlights. If I had to buy again I would get a foldable umbrella style. Annoying to pack and carry on a shoot

Dish works great, but it's bent and looks like if I wanted to get a grid it won't work. The boxes were in good condition so the dish shipped out like that. It's a little disheartening but it doesn't take away from its function.

Modifier is amazing! Just be mindful when ordering that the Bowen?s mount adapter ships separately and not together. My adapter delivered one week after the beauty dish itself. Seems like a logistics improvement needed.

OK. Was a little mis-shapen and had to bend it back to round. Also, one of the screws that held the center reflector was stripped so I had to go get all new screws. Works fine but cheaply made.

Works as a beauty dish should and the price is right. Rods in the center reflector needed tightening and the sock tore at the elastic, Easy fixes. I do prefer the Visatec Softlight beauty dish as it is much more flexible. The light output also seems better. Could be more about the Visatec moonlight bulb that the modifier though.
