My Father loved Steiner binoculars and always bought them he used to love to have them in his truck readily available to use in case he saw something that caught his interest when he was out driving on the ranch. My father passed away last summer. i have been in need of binoculars as of late- i love to bird watch here in pennsylvania, and, i thought of no other binoculars to buy other than the ones my dad loved. i am so happy to be a part of the Steiner Family and to carry on my dad's legacy as an owner of steiner binoculars!

I've used Steiner binoculars most of my life mostly for tactical reasons. Never had a set go bad or fog up in tropical or desert usage. The T1028 is just right for me now. You can never go wrong with Steiner products!

Well I bought these T824's two years ago, I was the guy that asked about new lens covers. I dummy corded the new set that I was able to order. These binoculars have been on many excursions and trips, in the USA and Norway. They are small enough to take anytime anywhere. They have held up to travel, canoe trips, hiking, daily walks. The glass is high quality with crisp vision of what you are looking at. My only complaint is that they are not larger. I didn't buy them to be larger though, I have other binoculars in that category. I don't think I could have bought a better small binocular in the price range, I grab them all the time when I'm on the go and want lighter smaller quality glass with me.

After fine tuning the eye relief and diopter/focus settings to my eyes; I find the optics are bright and clear over the entire field of view. Image quality is exceptional. I tested them in low light conditions where I could not see known objects within 100 yards, these binoculars made it possible to see and identify those objects, just amazing! The focusing ring is smooth and fast with perfect clarity. The depth of view is also exceptional. They are very comfortable in the hands. These T1042 binoculars perform exactly as described and what I was expecting from Steiner.

I’ve only had my new T1042 binoculars for a few days, but they appear to be what I expected from Steiner. I have an older pair of 8x30 Steiners that i’ve used mostly for air shows. We’re going on a walking safari next summer, needed a second pair, and it was recommended to get 10 power. I chose the Tactical over the Safari model and I’m pleased with the clarity at long distances.

Took a little bit of experimenting, but got it worked out and am very satisfied. I've got another set in 8x32 which I've used for several years. This is what sold me on Steiner. Great optics/clarity.
