I used an iPad 2 from its release to its Apple-decreed obsolescence, which means it won't take iOS beyond 10.x.x The iPad Mini 4 is much lighter, thinner, has twice the memory of my old unit and lets me continue working on projects I began on my Macs. Thanks to Bluetooth I can use a small Bluetooth keyboard with it and work on documents anywhere. I have not had any reason to be disappointed with the unit in any way at all since I got it, and it's become a valued element in my workflow and personal use.

I bought this to replace my old iPod 2. It works great, although the constant updates from Apple (which I guess are necessary) have become a bother. Beware that this is much smaller than a standard iPad--which can be good or bad, depending on what you want.

I bought this for multiple uses--image review, reader, other apps where I need a bigger screen. In some cases it serves as a laptop substitute. The mini is very portable, the screen is great and the battery holds up well. I am very pleased with my iPad mini.

I am coming from a iPad 2 which is BIG and HEAVY! It is still working but very slow. Figuring it was time to upgrade, I bought the iPad mini. So much lighter and smaller. I thought the size was right, but maybe I should have checked out the full size one. This is excellent for a young person, but I am getting older, and my eyes probably would have enjoyed the larger size more. Still, I love it because of the portability, and light weight.

Love all Apple products but I wish it came with a better guide. We got locked out and had to do the obligatory hour phone call to Apple. Plus it arrived 80% charged which seemed odd. But your delivery was very quick!

Man this 8" ipad is great - 8" is perfect size and very light weight, unit is also very fast in operation too, and has lots of space on the 128gb flash disc for storage. I would highly recommend this ipd mini 4 - it's the greatest!!
