This is easy to use and I hope to be able to get rid of my laptop . It is a little heavy and too big to put in my purse but I think it will be easy to put in a carry on bag for traveling. So far it is fun to use. I like all the swiping to arrange things and am still learning all the great things it can do. Much is intuitive or easy to look up on line.

Excellent Product! FYI, new plug size requires different adapters, also no typical ear phone jack.

Excellent for multitasking. Runs smooth with high refresh, and really bright. Loved using this for sketching, photo and video editing, and even playing games and watching movies. Works perfect for every situation. I had the older iPad Pro and upgraded to this one. The pencil and the new iPad just feels so much better. Less bezels to get in the way and a bigger screen in a smaller form factor. Love this iPad Pro.

I’ve had an iPad Air for years and was ready to upgrade to iPad Pro. I was very much considering the 11”, and thought the 12.9” was too big. After demoing the both sizes pro at an Apple store, I decided on the 12.9. Now with iPad OS, I’m glad I did! The ability to add external drives, HD monitors, mouse, game controllers, along with the Smart keyboard and Apple Pen, this is a joy to work with! It has pretty much replaced my Mac mini which stay mostly in Sleep mode now. If you think the 12.9 is more than you need, then I’d definitely get the 11 inch. Since we can now connect external drives, I only got the 256GB model and use Samsung T5 external Solid State Drives for added storage and backup.

This is my second iPad Pro purchase, I bought it to replace my original 12.9" model and was pleased right away by the better performance. This Fall the new iOS for iPaD was released and delivered many new features, but frankly, memorizing the location and control of those various screen actions seems barely worth the trouble. It still feels like the iPad is mimicking but never matching the performance and convenience of a laptop. I continue to own and use both a MacBook Pro and a MacBook Air. If there was a decent keyboard available for the iPad (the Apple "case" is super-flat but nearly worthless for typing or protecting the iPad) I might feel different,y

Exactly as described. This is my 2nd iPad but my old one is the 2nd generation, so the new one is so much different. It's basically like my MacBook Pro with a few less things. I got it this for entertainment like reading and watching movies. I very happy with the purchase.

Got this as the replacement of an ancient iPad Air. Super fast, screen big enough and in combination with the Smart Keyboard it might replace my MacBook Pro 13 inch soon.

Exactly as advertised. This has been a great purchase so far. I initially had my reservations about buying the Ipad Pro because of the hefty price, but I've already put it to good use as my student daily driver.

This iPad Pro with 1 TB of memory is extremely fast and with enough space so that most people will rarely need to archive files to another location. The large bright touch screen is a pleasure to use.

So awesome. Has the responsiveness we've come to expect from apple - specifically with the pen, and the speakers ain't half bad to boot either.

Just what I wanted. Waiting for full PS to come out. Procreate is a great App, can’t believe it’s only $10. Also want to try Affinity Designer, instead of illustrator. Debated over the 12.9 or this, but glad I chose this one. Thought I’d have issues drawing, but it just works great and it’s a lot easier carrying around and the cases are cheaper

My son in college uses this for taking notes, recording lectures, and downloading e-textbooks. No more heavy backpack, and no more papers and notebooks to file away. My unorganized son is now organized!

I have not owned an iPad for roughly 9 years. I purchased this for use of digitizing notes for use with the new Apple Pencil. I chose the 12.9 because it is 8.5x11 and would be the most natural to replace the use of a standard piece of paper. I had the opportunity to use it for this last week at a week long conference and it was perfect. Mixed with the use of GoodNotes, it lived up to exactly what I needed. Multitasking was a breeze, floating dock, picture in picture, and side by side application usage was easily accomplished and screen space was not an issue.

The high quality display, faceID, and performance are the main benefits of this over the regular iPad. Not crazy about the switch USB-C, given it's not even really used to its potential (and that older devices still use lightning), and the lack of headphone jack, but otherwise this is a great product.

I've had all three generations of iPad Pro and I was very disappointed in the second gen one. I'm really appreciating my new 3rd gen and I definitely recommend it. I use it every single day.
