Excellent product at an excellent price. Adorama's discount put this superb Mac product within my financial reach. The new, short-travel keyboard design takes a bit of getting used to but after awhile, typing on it becomes natural.

It’s a capable laptop. For typical functions, it’s stellar. For running multiple virtual machines at once, it struggles and occasionally crashes the Mac. I’ve made some corrective actions since and issues have subsided. As a workstation, a windows based machine might be a better buy for the money. HOWEVER, with the new MBP 16” (MacBook Pro) with better rated GPUs, improved keyboard, slightly bigger screen, and better cooling, the newer MBP is even a more attractive buy. I bought mine just 4-5 days before the new 16” MBPs debuted. If I could, I would exchange it. I opened it before I learned of the new MBPs. ?? Some issues: 1) I ran some diagnostic tests and ran safe mode to help resolve my crashing issues while running VirtualBox. Issues resolved for now. 2) Also, it doesn’t reach the advertised over clocking CPU speeds. Seems to be an Apple thing on their laptops. But this false advert is not exclusive to Apple. Many other laptop makers do this as well. We can also fault Intel too in there higher core chips. CPU barely reaches its base clock speed of 2.3GHZ during heavy loads. Maybe better cooling would alleviate this issue. I have an additional laptop fan at home. As a result, I recommend the Core i7 CPU instead of any of the i9 CPUs, allowing you to save and/or invest more into GPUs and Memory. Apple apparently tried to improve this a few months back with updates, but it still falls short of the advertised overboost of 4.8GHZ. Positives: Ive been an Apple fan since the late 1980s. However, I do love Linux and windows almost as much. For example, as a business and gaming machine, windows reigns king. For server use, Linux is desirable. For media, systems admin, and development, Mac is more ideal. Each OS has their pros and cons. But for what I need to do (networking and cybersecurity) this macOS seemed to be the best choice: longevity, reliability, functionality. Granted Linux and windows have great reliability and longevity these days. However, at least in a windows machine, you cannot run Mac OS (yes, if running a virtual machine). With MacOS, you can format and/or partition your hard drive to run any or all 3 different OSs. Although macs May appear to be priced at a premium, you are not being ripped off. If you price each part individually and compare same or similar performing parts for a windows machine, prices are about the same.

This macbook works great. I believe it is the fastest macbook pro I have used so far. The only thing that prevents this computer from getting to 5 stars, is the fact that it gets pretty hot at full load causing the fans to turn on and the cpu to throttle. Even at throttle speeds, I believe it is fast. However, I believe an upgrade to the cooling system is needed to really unlease the power of the core i9. I believe apple fixed this with the macbook 16 inch, which I have ordered.

Upgrading from a mid-2015 MBP. I can't say I'm a fan of having to use a dongle for peripherals but it is impressive I can plug so many in, including power, into a single port. Touchbar with touchID is great. Processing and graphics are lovely. Obviously very expensive but so it goes with Apple.

Very happy with my new MacBook Pro. Really like the Touch Bar. Old-school typists beware: the keys on this keyboard takes getting used to. The keys are closer together and not quite as raised as old models.

This has the speed and ability to multitask using all the Adobe Cloud based software I use for my work as an artist. Graphics are crisp and true to color and tone. Enough storage so as not to need an external drive. There’s no real alternative out there for the price.

I upgraded from a 2012 MacBook Pro to the 2019 Model, which is quite an advancement, mildly put, and obviously a huge difference. It’s a fantastic laptop, I work mostly with photos, videos and MS office as I am in tourism, and it does all I need at the speed I need. Despite the 15” screen it’s still light and slim. The only thing I preferred with my old model is the power cable plug into the device with the magnetic socket and the green light on the plug which immediately showed you that it’s charging, but that is really minor.

Great machine, first time that I have something like this, very easy for use. As for the seller, smooth transaction, and one of the few who send items on APO/AE address. Thanks for that, means a lot. A+++++

The space gray mid 2019 Apple 15.4" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar has been upgraded with a 9th Generation Intel Core six-core processor. This laptop still features True Tone display technology that automatically adjusts white balance to match the color temperature of the surround light, and the Apple's T2 coprocessor chip. All of this helps to create a more powerful and versatile system for photographers, video editors, 3D graphic designers, gamers, and coders.
