The S3X-V combines the X-ART tweeter with a 4.5" HexaCone midrange speaker and 9" HexaCone woofer in a studio monitor that impresses with its well-balanced and supremely detailed sound. Whether it is a complex sounding large orchestra or the subtle sound of a jazz trio, the S3X-V meticulously reveals even the finest nuances in the source material. The combination of their in-house developed A/B amplifier with the X-ART tweeter allows for maximum precision in the higher frequencies. The tonal depth and the sweet spot are easy to perceive. Stereo image and sound detail are revealed with full effect, particularly at longer listening distances.

The 250 Watt PWM amplifiers of the woofer and midrange drivers working in conjunction with the 50 Watt tweeter amplifier enable the S3X-V to achieve an impressive maximum SPL of over 124dB per pair at 1 meter.

Sub10 MK2 Subwoofer

All subwoofers feature both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) input/output connectors and comprehensive control options that allow for adapting to different room acoustics and requirements. The Sub10 Mk2 is a powerful subwoofer designed to extend the low frequency capabilities of any near or midfield monitoring system down to 25Hz.

A sturdy special woofer with extended cone travel and a heavy-duty coil have been optimized for accurate reproduction from a bass reflex enclosure. The down-firing bass reflex tube avoids intrusive ventilation noise because of its generous size and shape. The PWM amplifier produces over 90% efficiency and can handle critical passages without overheating for long periods of time. An additional output allows you to cascade as many subwoofers as needed. The Sub10 Mk2 subwoofer provides a precise combination of low cutoff frequency (-3 dB at 25Hz) and an undistorted high sound pressure level (113dB at 1m).

Panel / Controls
All subwoofers feature a level control (-60dB to +6dB), phase switch (180deg. ) and a variable upper frequency control (50-150Hz). For the satellite outputs, an 85Hz high pass filter can be switched in to block frequencies below 85Hz so satellite speakers can meet the Dolby recommendations for theater sound and also to relieve the satellites from the lower frequencies. In addition, you can either switch on/off the subwoofer manually or use the option of automatically powering up the subwoofer whenever it receives a signal (signal-on/ continuous).
