AJA OG-FIDO-2R 2-Ch LC Fiber to 3G-SDI Receiver Multi-Mode

The OG-FiDO-2R is a cutting-edge, openGear compatible, 2-channel Fiber to 3G-SDI converter, expertly designed to extend 3G-SDI signals up to an impressive distance of 10 km (32,808 ft) over fiber optic cable.

This device is specifically designed for integration into high-density openGear 2RU frames, including AJA's OG-X-FR frame. It also boasts new DashBoard software support on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms. This software enables remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture, offering industry-standard configuration, monitoring, and control options over a PC or local network.

The OG-FiDO-2R converter ensures optimal connectivity with its fiber inputs being reclocked, boasting top-tier input jitter tolerance. It supports 3G-SDI rates of 270Mb, 1.5Gb, and 3Gb. The fiber connector is securely attached to the main card, enhancing reliability and cost-effectiveness.

The DashBoard software, available for download, provides quick and convenient configuration and control of openGear cards on macOS, Windows, and Linux platforms. The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O connections per card, included with individual cards for maximum flexibility.

For added security, an optional redundant power supply can provide a secondary power source in the event of a primary power failure. A standard Ethernet connection allows the frame to be accessed via the Dashboard application for overall frame communication. For advanced communication with compatible openGear cards, optional per-card Ethernet access can be installed in the frame.
