A few words from the sponsor: “Art is born out of passion. Fine Art photography is a perfect instrument, which allows a person to communicate with the world and share their vision. It results from the author’s deep sensitivity, a need to express feelings through image, a unique view of the surrounding reality. It can be spontaneous, but it can also be a conscious and deliberate manifesto. FAPA is searching for photos born out of passion – your passion.”
Make Vision Count Photography Competition
Deadline: Oct. 12
Submission Fee: None
Prizes: Pro: $1,000 cash. Amateur: Canon DSLR camera
Who can enter: Professional or amateur; especially eyecare professionals
A few words from the sponsor: “As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. This competition can be a great opportunity to highlight eye health successes and also document unmet need. The World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan (GAP) aims to ensure “universal eye health” coverage, especially to those who are vulnerable and most in need. While there is a lot more to be done, the eye health sector has been working to ensure that good quality eye care reaches the most under-served populations.”
