Julian Evans

Julian Evans

Julian Evans has come to chew bubblegum and design sound — and he’s all out of bubblegum. In his nascent career of just over a decade, he has provided sound design and mixing services on over a hundred independent shorts and features for the likes of Syfy, Refinery29, and Columbia University, and ads for clients including Hillary Clinton, Pepsi, Dropbox, and Instagram. His mixes have screened worldwide, including winners at renowned festivals such as Austin Film Festival, Florida Film Festival, Urbanworld, Slamdance, and Clermont-Ferrand. In lieu of any free-time, he also pursues a career as an off-Broadway sound designer with dozens of credits at houses such as Theatre Row, The York, 59e59, and La Mama, and is an active member of IATSE Local USA 829.
