Full-frame capability in one little package:

Weighing in at only 440 g, this camera is an obvious choice for anyone who wants a powerful full-frame camera that can do it all without sacrificing room in their carry-on luggage.

Capture photos on-the-go and in a variety of environments, without ever having to worry about losing image quality. The Canon EOS RP’s 26.2 Megapixel Full-Frame CMOS sensor is dynamic in combination with its speedy DIGIC 8 Image Processor. Perfect for travelers who are on-the-go, the Canon EOS RP is fast and efficient, no matter if you’re shooting in low-light situations or prepared to shoot the landscape of a lifetime.

Besides its fantastic AF handling low light, the Canon EOS RP can also detect human faces and photographers can select their focus using its “Touch and Drag” functions on the touchscreen LCD. The EOS RP’s LCD touchscreen’s brightness can be adjusted (a first in the EOS family) and used from virtually any angle.

Snap photos and 4k video that are crisp, focused, and feature a broader range, elevating your images to the next level in terms of inciting wanderlust.

RF Mount & EF/EF-S Lens Compatibility:

Designed to seamlessly work with RF lenses, the EOS RP completely aligns with any EF or EF-S lenses photographers already own — just by using one of the mount adapters. It even crops automatically to match the APS-C sized sensor these lenses were made for.

What does that mean? Your prized Canon lenses that you already own will work flawlessly with Canon’s EOS RP model. And as any traveler will tell you, the more streamlined and minimal your bag is, the easier it is to focus on capturing great content.

Canon’s newest full frame model packs a serious punch when it comes to image quality, but most impressively, it does so in a light, compact, portable size.

It is also available as a kit with a EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens or a RF24-105mm lens, each also including a free Canon mount adapter and grip.
