3) SPOTLIGHT: NYC Dance Project
Ken Browar and Deborah Ory are a husband and wife photography team and the creators of NYC Dance Project. NYC Dance Project merges the couple’s experiences and creative passions to create unique and beautiful portraits of the dance community. Each shoot is prepared as though it were its own dance production, with attention paid to every detail – movement, lighting and the feeling of each image. AdoramaTV was able to go behind the scenes in the photo studio with Ken and Deborah in this video featuring dancers Miriam Miller (New York City Ballet), Yannick Lebrun (Alvin Ailey) and Liudmila Konovalova (Vienna State Ballet).
4) Through The Lens | S03E01 – @_tuck4
Filming Takashi Yasui, @_tuck4 on Instagram was one of the most authentic Japanese experiences the AdoramaTV production team had while shooting “Through The Lens Season 3.” Takashi takes us on a journey through a few locations in Japan, specifically highlighting his work in the Play Kimono world.
5) Episode 1: Top Photographer with Nigel Barker
AdoramaTV has the opportunity to break into the reality webisode world this year with the show “Top Photographer with Nigel Barker.” In the first episode, contestants arrive in New York and get right to work with a sports action themed challenge. Tune in to see who prevails as our contestants get the opportunity to shoot an Olympic athlete just back from Rio.
6) 4 Simple Ways to Light the Face: Onset ep. 74
With an extra bit of creativity, Daniel Norton demonstrates the dramatic changes lighting position can have on your subject’s face. Oh, and there’s a surprise in here for the viewers too!
7) Adorama Presents Joe McNally: Close Encounters
This was the exciting finale of a 4-part installment of “Adorama Presents” featuring the internationally acclaimed photographer Joe McNally. In this series, he works with Daniel Norton to create a variety of shots, but specifically, here they bring to life an image that can only be conjured in the mind of Joe McNally.

11) Fake Golden Hour: Exploring Photography with Mark Wallace
Sometimes it’s just not possible to shoot at the perfect time of day, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get great portraits. Longtime AdoramaTV host Mark Wallace uses his inventiveness once again and shows us how we can fake “golden hour” light using a flash, orange gel, and a variable neutral density filter.
