Fujifilm has just announced its first telephoto lens for GF lens series, the FUJINON GF 250mm f/4 macro lens. To complement the lens, the company has also released a 1.4 teleconverter and two macro extension tubes.
FUJINON GF 250mm F/4 R LM OIS WR Macro Lens, (Shop Now)
The 250mm f/4 telephoto lens boasts 16 elements in 10 groups, with 1 super ED and 2 ED elements, and brings with it ultra-high resolution. Its five-stop optical image stabilization feature help to achieve maximum high resolution and optimal sharpness. And with the new GFX 50S firmware, photographers can utilize a silent and high-speed autofocus feature and a mechanism that allows users to fix linear motor position when turning the unit off or operating in playback mode.
In a dust- and weather-resistant design body (made with magnesium alloy, and a fluorine coating), the lens can operate and withstand temperatures as low as 14°F/-10°C.

Fujifilm GF 1.4X TC WR Teleconverter, (Shop Now)
In addition to the lens, Fujifilm is also launching the 1.4x teleconverter, which can improve shooting to a focal length of 350mm (in 35mm format, that’s approximately 277mm), and is noted as a go-to for wildlife photographers.

Finally, the company has also announced the release of two new macro extension tubes — an 18mm and a 45mm to expand the range of macro photography and improving photos’ magnification ration when added to any GF lens.
