Featuring Dolby Atmos

Perhaps the biggest upgrade on the Beam 2 is the inclusion of Dolby Atmos. This is unique surround sound technology developed by Dolby that allows you to hear sound in a 360-degree bubble. Basically, it creates an immersive experience by bouncing beams of audio off your ceiling and then to your ears, so the audio sounds like it is moving around you. This provides cinema-grade sound in the comfort of your living room.

Optimal Controlling Options

There are so many different ways to control the content being streamed through the Sonos Beam 2. You have the option to control the Beam using your phone through the Sonos app, or from your usual television remote. If you’d prefer a voice-control option, your Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant can also connect and control your Sonos Beam 2. This means you can monitor what is being played from any room in the house.

Quick and Easy Set-Up

You’re going to breeze through setting up your new Sonos Beam 2 because it only requires two cables. You’ll simply need to plug the Beam into power and then connect it to your TV using the included HDMI cord. Not to mention, you can receive step-by-step guidance through the Sonos app to ensure everything will run smoothly.

The Sonos Beam 2 also features Trueplay, which uses its built-in microphones to measure how sound reflects off walls and furniture. It then sound-tunes your speaker to make sure it sounds great from anywhere in the room.

The Sonos Beam will be available for pre-order in two colors (Black and White) on September 23rd at Adorama.
