The Alibi ALI-DVR1004E 4-Channel 960H H.264 Security DVR offers 960H high-resolution live viewing and recording with 33% more detail than standard D1 resolution DVRs. This 4-channel DVR is easy to set up and provides a cost-effective recording solution for small to medium-sized businesses. The digital video recorder offers a selectable frame rate and delivers 960H resolution at 10 frames per second (fps) per camera or CIF resolution at 30 frames per second (fps) per camera. The DVR includes VGA and BNC monitor outputs for convenient viewing.
Alibi Central Management Software (CMS) is a professional monitoring platform that enables you to centrally manage multiple devices, at multiple locations, from a single interface. The CMS enables you to view up to 64 live cameras on a single screen and supports up to 256 devices (such as cameras and recorders) with a maximum of 1,024 channels. The user-friendly central management software is loaded with powerful features to enhance your management and viewing experience, including: drag-and-drop system and camera selection, customizable displays, device grouping, alarms and notifications, remote system management and many more.
Multiple built-in recording modes, including continuous, motion detection, schedule and alarm, let you record video based upon your surveillance needs. The Alibi ALI-DVR1004E features H.264 video compression to reduce file size and save hard drive storage space. The security DVR supports up to a 4TB hard drive for many hours of storage. 960H Resolution - View and Record High-resolution Video
960H recording resolution ensures high quality, high-resolution video for live-viewing and recording. A 960H DVR can record from cameras with 960H image sensors to deliver a 33% larger image and provide sharper, more detailed video than standard DVRs which record at D1 resolution. 960H produces a wider image than CIF or D1. This reduces image stretching on widescreen monitors, which is a common problem with lower resolutions.

H.264 Video Compression - Maximize recording time and reduce file size
H.264 enables the transmission of higher-quality images at the same rate as MPEG4, but H.264 has a higher compression ratio than MPEG4 and can reduce bandwidth and storage usage, keeping file sizes small and manageable.
Built-in Bandwidth Throttle - Optimize bandwidth for remote viewing
The bandwidth throttle enables the DVR to use less bandwidth for remote viewing in low bandwidth environments. Bandwidth is reduced, but picture quality is lower to accommodate the reduction.
Schedule Recording - Record at a scheduled time
The DVR will record video on specific days and time ranges specified by the user. For example, you may set recording to occur between 9 am and 5 pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Motion Detection - Record only when motion is detected
The DVR's motion detection feature allows you to pre-define zones for each camera and program the DVR to start recording when motion is detected within the zone, saving hard drive space and reducing the amount of recorded video. This feature also enables you to get alerted by alarm and email when there is an incident.
Continuous Recording - Record video around-the-clock
For applications that require sensitive areas to be constantly monitored, the DVR will record continuous video for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you never miss a moment's activity. Continuous recording is beneficial for recording video in areas where there is constant activity that needs to be monitored such as lobbies, retail store entrances, casinos and other high traffic areas.
Pre/Post Alarm Recording - Record when triggered by an alarm
This feature works with the motion detection capability of the DVR or alarm contacts attached to a door or window. When an incident is detected, in addition to recording the activity being monitored, the DVR records a pre-set amount of time before and after the event to the hard drive. This enables you to see what happened before and after motion was detected and view additional information about the circumstances leading up to and after it.
Automated Email Alerts - Be notified when an event occurs
The DVR will automatically send an email alert with a text notification or an image when an event triggered by motion has occurred. This provides a record of the event and enables you quickly to take action when an incident occurs.
