It?s Tissue Paper

Well packaged for shipment but the corner was folded over on the top 25 sheets. My intent is to use this buffered tissue paper as a print separator/protector during storage and shipment.

great choice and value

This buffered tissue is ideal to use with archival inkjet prints to help protect the print from surface scratches and non acid-free substrates.

Unacceptable turnaround

If your willing to wait 12-13 days to get your product thats marked "in stock and ready to ship" then by all means you will be just fine. If you actually have a need to fullfill then use any of the other companies that can get it to you the same week. Just under 2 weeks for a small package of tissue paper. I have no dea how this company is still in business.

This buffered tissue is ideal to use with archival inkjet prints to help protect the print from surface scratches and non acid-free substrates.

The Archival Buffered Tissue, measuring 17x25 inches with a generous count of 480 sheets per package, is an indispensable preservation tool for both professionals and enthusiasts in the fields of photography, art, and textile conservation. This premium-grade tissue paper is specifically designed to provide the utmost care and protection for valuable items during storage and transportation.

Crafted with meticulous attention to archival standards, this buffered tissue paper is imbued with an alkaline buffer, which actively neutralizes acids that can cause deterioration over time. This feature ensures that prints, drawings, and artifacts are safeguarded against the damaging effects of acid migration, thereby extending their lifespan and maintaining their integrity.

The acid-free and lignin-free composition of the tissue paper further reinforces its protective qualities, making it an ideal choice for wrapping and preserving delicate items such as vintage gowns, historic uniforms, and other precious textile pieces. Its lignin-free nature prevents the paper from becoming brittle and discolored, which could otherwise compromise the items it encases.

The tissue's lightweight and pliable characteristics allow for effortless folding, padding, or crumpling without creating hard edges that could damage sensitive materials. This flexibility enables users to tailor the tissue to the unique contours and shapes of the items being protected, providing a custom fit that enhances preservation.

Whether used for print separation, artifact protection, or as a safeguard during shipment, the Archival Buffered Tissue offers a reliable and professional solution for maintaining the condition of your treasured items. Its ample quantity ensures that you have sufficient supply for large-scale archival projects or ongoing preservation needs.

In summary, the Archival Buffered Tissue stands as a superior choice for those seeking to uphold the highest standards of care in the preservation of their valuable collections and artifacts.
