Designed for creators on the move who need more punch, the amaran Ray 120c is an ultra-compact, 120W full-color point-source LED light powered by the OmniColor light engine - delivering class-leading output and true-to-life color in a slim, travel-ready body.
With an IP54-rated build for real-world shoots, amaran Ace E-Lock compatibility, and simplified USB-C PD power, the amaran Ray 120c moves effortlessly from outdoors to the studio.
Ultra-compact power for on-the-go
Keeping the ultra-compact footprint of the amaran Ray 60c, the amaran Ray 120c remains slim (5.1cm / 2.0in) and lightweight (599g / 1.32lbs) - comparable in size and weight to mirrorless camera bodies - yet still retains a full-size Bowens Mount.
This compact build lets you travel lighter and set up faster in tight spaces, on the go, and between locations.
Best-in-class brightness
The amaran Ray 120c outshines competing ultra-compact COB lights, delivering up to 6,850 lux at 1m without accessories - 22% increase in output vs. the amaran 150c - while being nearly 85% smaller in size. Or pair with the optional Mini Reflector or Mini Fresnel for even more punch.
True-to-life color with OmniColor
Powered by the OmniColor light engine, the amaran Ray 120c reproduces light that looks true-to-life - both on camera and to the eye. Building on amaran's previous full-color chipset, OmniColor expands the red and blue ranges to deliver a fuller, more balanced spectrum of light - achieving SSI scores of 87 (Tungsten) and 80 (D56).
What you see is what you capture: cleaner whites, truer skin tones, and more accurate color that stays consistent on camera.
Ultimate portable power flexibility
In addition to the included DC power adapter, the amaran Ray 120c is built for mobility with amaran Ace E-Lock and USB-C PD support. Run for 35 minutes at 100% output with the amaran Peak via Ace E-Lock for a secure, cable-free setup. Or power with USB-C PD power banks and chargers - eliminating NP-F or V-Mount batteries while keeping your setup streamlined from outdoor locations to studio shoots.
Instant, effortless controls
The amaran Ray 120c is built to make setup and adjustments faster and more intuitive. Use the FlowTurn knob to fine-tune one step at a time when you need precision or spin quickly to accelerate through settings when efficiency is key.
In the amaran app, pair your amaran Ray 120c or multiple lights in the Ray family with just at app via built-in NFC-even before turning it on.
