While capturing the timeless essence of black and white photography, the Arista.EDU Ultra 200 B&W Negative Film offers photographers a high-quality, durable, and professional medium for their artistic expressions. This 4x5 inch film, available in a generous pack of 25 sheets, is a versatile choice for both seasoned professionals and enthusiastic hobbyists seeking to achieve sharp, detailed images with a classic aesthetic.
Crafted to work harmoniously with all major black and white film processing systems, this film ensures a seamless experience from exposure to development. The recommended developing times are meticulously calibrated for normal contrast negatives, with a standardized baseline at 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20 degrees Celsius), accommodating intermittent agitation to achieve optimal results.
For those who prefer specific developers, the Arista.EDU Ultra 200 film is compatible with a wide range of options, including Arista's own line of powders and liquids, as well as other renowned brands like Ilford and Kodak. Whether you're using Arista 76 Powder for a stock dilution time of 5-6 minutes or exploring the nuances of Kodak HC 110 with a 1:31 dilution, this film adapts to your preferred development style.
To ensure the best possible outcome, it is recommended to agitate continuously for the first 30 seconds, followed by 5 to 7 inversion cycles every 30 seconds for the remainder of the development time. For those utilizing a rotary processor with continuous agitation, a 15% reduction in developing times is advised. As with any photographic process, these times may require fine-tuning to align with individual processing systems and personal techniques.
The Arista.EDU Ultra 200 B&W Negative Film is not only a testament to the brand's commitment to quality but also to the affordability and accessibility of professional-grade materials. With its higher sheet count, photographers can confidently experiment and create a substantial body of work without the concern of running low on supplies.
Embrace the art of black and white photography with the assurance of a product that is designed to perform consistently, yielding negatives that truly reflect your vision. The Arista.EDU Ultra 200 B&W Negative Film is a choice that brings together the reliability of a trusted brand and the practicality of a product well-suited for the demands of modern film photography.
