I bought my ASUS laptop a few weeks ago as a Christmas gift for myself. I was impressed by the quiet keyboard and liked its feel. The OLED screen was simply amazing with great contrast and brightness. The laptop combined a powerful processor and memory to keep most applications humming along smoothly. I am writing this review to get the 90 day warranty extension.

Never have I owned and Asus product but have used my friends.I have had many different brands but for some reason never an Asus. Returning an Amazon product at Staples I wandered over to the laptops, never thinking I'd buy one. I am receiving an extended warranty for this review. My current Lenovo is fine but getting a little long in the tooth. I saw the Asus 17.3 inch, larger than the Lenovo running an I5 12th Gen. the price $399, wow. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. This machine is sleek, the screen is massive, lighted keyboard and more storage and speed I'll ever need.

I bought this unit on Boxing Day 2022. I waited for a sale and got all the features I wanted for a great price. I wanted a 1 TB SSD, 16 GB RAM, and a backlit keyboard. I've loaded it up with my image/video apps and my software development apps and it performs great. For example, running Topaz Photo AI on my photos, it enhances an image in less than 1/4 of the time as my Dell Inspiron 5759. On more than 1000 photos this is a massive time saver. I have had numerous comments on how terrific the display is. It is also super light and super quiet. I couldn't be happier with it. There was one very minor issue with the keyboard backlighting but a short online chat with ASUS tech support, and a quick BIOS update solved it.

I purchased a ASUS Vivobook 15 to replace a Dell Inspiron as an everyday home use laptop. I shopped across other brands & found the ASUS Vivobook to have superior hardware specs at a great price. Performance in the first couple weeks has been great... very pleased with my purchase

Have not dropped it yet so don?t know the full quality, the performance is butter smooth, and for having apple products I can almost set it up exactly how I have my MacBook set up so it?s seamless when I have to go between the two.

This laptop delivers performance and quality. Build is aluminum and since the screen was OLED, it is thin. It doesn?t overheat but there is a small amount of heat that can be felt in the middle of the keyboard. Perhaps this is because of the engineering of the twin silent fans. The keyboard is accurate and responsive, the pad is very responsive as well. I love the fact the pad is larger in this laptop. This laptop is like a gamers/creators laptop with a body of an elite premium thin laptop. When I first saw it in Bestbuy, I did not think twice. Seeing in the specs that it has an OLED screen, Ryzen 7, RTX3050, 16gb of ram, upgradeable NVMe SSD, and the laptop was actually light, and suprisingly not bulky. The build quality is surely elite and favors portability. The screen, since it is OLED, the colors just pop up, blacks are deep. Since OLED screen pixels turna off to produce deep blacks, that mean if you use a black wallpaper or blank screen saver, you save on battery or electricity in general. It is wifi 6 which means it supports latest improvements in wireless connectivity. It does have a good wifi reception and downloads things faster. I am a technician, gamer, graphic artist and content creator. The moment I saw this one, I immediately fell in love with it. The features sealed the deal. I never regret buying it. The screen is pantone certified which means you get accurate color reproduction. That means movies and games will pop up like never before. I can play games in high and ultra settings without lag. This is comparable to an i9 but this one have more cores. I am sure you guys will like this. Go ahead and grab one. Buy a samsonite backpack as well, they have zippers that can be locked, lots of compartments, quality materials and build and are airport certified. HDMI port is version 1.4 which means it is optimized for 1080p external screens, but if you will use it in modern 4k TV?s with scaler and action smoothing like the TCL 6 series, you will hardly see the difference. It has a USB-C version 3.2 port that can communicate with your RTX desktop videocards usb-c port for data transfer. Sadly this port is not power delivery (PD), which means you cannot charge the laptop using the usb-c port, it has its power adaptor. You can connect it to a portable monitor with usb-c or hdmi ports provided you use another source of power for the external monitor like a power bank or use its own power adaptor. The USB-A port at the right is version 3.2 and there are 2 usb-a version 2.0 ports in the left. You can also find a micro sd card slot on the right. It doesn?t have any SD Card slot though but you can always use a portable one. To wrap things up, visit your favorite electronic store and check it out, you will buy it in a heartbeat. It is built very well. I attached a picture showing the difference of the laptops OLED screen compared to my portable external monitor which has an IPS LCD screen. Very big difference.

A best buy for any amateur artist who works on photo or video editing. Most importantly, a colour calibrated Oled screen with 4 gb of dedicated graphics will offer some fantastic display with strong performance.

I have owned 2 HP desktops for photo processing and then two HP laptops. All of them never had issues, I just upgraded as tech got better. 3 years ago I bought my first ASUS Zenbook. It worked fine for 3 years until just a few weeks ago when I hadn’t used it in a few weeks and when I plugged it in, it would not boot. Long story short, sent to ASUS for repair thinking it was probably lay a bad internal battery. They sent me an invoice for $ and said the whole motherboard and hard drive needed to be replaced and I would lose all my data. Unbelievable! It was in a computer bag sitting in a closet. I am now using my 8 year old HP that hasn’t been turned on in over a year and it works just fine. Never again will a buy an unproven computer like ASUS.
