Great computer
I got this computer as a gift and have loved it! It's simple and easy to use, has great features like back-lit keyboard, touch screen, and more! I needed a new computer, as I'm going back to school, and this is a great simple laptop for that!

Had what I needed except an optical drive.
I've only had this laptop for a couple of weeks. Bought as a replacement for my previous Asus. Thus far I'm happy with it. Has a fast response and the screen is very sharp.

asus vivobook 512ja
I purchased the Asus VivoBook laptop about a week ago. So far so good. Fast and functional. No issues. I really like this laptop.

Well I have only had this for a couple days so far it has been very good. Easy to set up and everything is running smoothly. Seems to be a very nice laptop.

Excellent quality
My boyfriend bought his in September of 2021! I was so impressed with the touch screen, speed, and sleek modern look that I decided to purchase something very similar. I?m in love again after ridding myself of the HP I bought in 2015.

Light and Simple laptop for Tech Adverse Person
Recently purchased from my local Staples due to the price and the look. The laptop is very light, screen is amazing and booted quickly. Only issue is it tries to install Mcafee but other than that, the laptops is exceeding my basic computer needs.

Premium and Compact Laptop
Absolutely delighted with the quality and finish of the laptop. The screen is matte finish which anti-glare and keyboard is backlit.

Great features upgraded to windows 11 no problem

Excellent laptop for price
This is my first Asus F512JA laptop and the laptop did not disappoint!! There are more features like finger scan and backlight keyboard that similar laptop do not offer. I found setup to be quick and straightforward. This is a time saver for me as I don't have to enter my long password everytime. The laptop is light on RAM for new Windows 11 so I'm planning to upgrade it to 12GB RAM to run smoothly. I will also have to upgrade SDD to bigger drive or buy external HDD for storage as the included 128GB SSD is mainly for Win OS. I read most online speed reviews and I found it to be accurate for this laptop. I would recommend this laptop especially when it's on sale.

It's okay
Bought this laptop for the price when my other work on crapped out. It was a pain in the butt to set up. It kept disconnecting to the internet. Once I fixed that, it's a pretty good laptop

Affordable quality computer
I bought this to replace my 9 year laptop that had died. I don?t need a computer like my last one just one to do a Word document or use internet site that can only be done on a computer. This one was on sale at Staples and came highly recommended by the salesman. I got a nicer laptop than expected. I love the fingerprint log in and the lighted key boards and the faster connection speed for the internet. I really have enjoyed my new computer.

Nice laptop
Bought this computer from Bestbuy, it came timely. This laptop is an upgrade in an older model Dell which no longer qualifies to windows 11 upgrade. The screen is crisp and clear, the computer itself appears sturdy, the surprising feature which was not listed on Best Buy was the fact this is a touch screen.

Loving this laptop
I am receiving a warranty extension from ASUS for my feedback. So far I love this laptop. It is very sleek and light. The keyboard keys are quiet. It unexpectedly came with touch screen and backlit keyboard even though the description said it did not have those features. It is also very fast. (Of course I'm caring it to my ancient brick of a laptop LOL). But I do love everything about the ASUS. I also love the fact that it has the separate numeric keypad!

Lightweight
Bought a few weeks ago on the recommendation of a computer repair shop when my our old laptop died. There wasn?t much available in this price range. But I find it a little slower than we?re used to and downloading my salvaged photos took up a lot of memory. It?s very lightweight, which is nice. And overall it works fine. But we probably should have purchased one with more memory space. Next time we?ll do our own research.

Love the size and weight!
(This review is for a 90 day warranty extension). I was looking for a new laptop that had a large enough screen and was lightweight and came across ASUS VivoBook! I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had a touchscreen, and I like that the keypad lights up when I use it.

Well-built starter laptop - great Performance
This is technically my first Asus and I must say for the price this is well-built starter laptop with pretty good performance for an i3 processor and only 4gb RAM. I can only imagine how well 8 or 12 gb upgrade will serve me
love the integrated fingerprint reader and feel of the keyboard including the NUM keypad. Screen resolution is pretty good - haven't watched videos as yet.
Only cons I see so far:
visibility of the keys in certain light conditions / angles
run-time on battery isn't great - maybe too early as I should go through a few more charging cycles. Does last a good 4+ hours so far
Great value for the price - which was on sale this thanksgiving!

Wow. This Asus is clean and fast. Nice streamlined look, and lightweight. Charges quickly. My old Asus is has been a goid friend, but the new one is a gem.
