SO far very impressed - can not believe more is not made of the ability to actually make and accept calls from watch - APPLE does not do this at all and costs significantly more - let alone the ZenWatch actually does a good job of it.

Looking for a replacement for my Pebble Time, I went with the Zenwatch 2. I am totally impressed with the speed that it charges. Generally less than an hour charge gives my about 2 days running. The watch faces are bright and easy to read and navigating around the apps is easy. I am not a heavy user of apps on the watch but like the notifications I get on it for email.

This is a beautiful watch! It's very well made, and works almost as advertised. I suspect it works fully with Android phones, but there is limited support for the iPhone, which I use. It doesn't take calls, as I think it can on Android phones, or use downloadable apps. There are much less watch faces, and you can't build your own as you can with Android phones, but there was one I liked in the Android Wear App. It tracks steps, but not sleep automatically, as the Pebble watches did. I use the Theater mode for sleeping, so I won't see the display through the covers. (I know, I could close my eyes, but just knowing it's there...) Optional arm gestures work well to control some features of the watch, if you want people to think you're a little odd. With the screen set to be on all the time, and on autodim, the charge lasts for me about a day, and charges FAST. A third party adapter is available to convert Apple Watch stands for this watch to use. Extra charging cables are inexpensive. The ban is east to change, and I have. I've tried a lot of smart watches. This is the best for twice the money it sells for, even with less that full use with the iPhone.

The watch is beautiful, and a great buy! In making my purchase, it would have been helpful to see gender or gender neutral details included in the description. I had to pay for links to be removed from the band. Knowing the band dimensions would have also helped in making my selection. Otherwise very pleased with the purchase overall.

I have been completely satisfied with my purchase of the Zenwatch 2 from Adorama. It's features seem to be as advertised and it was easily put into service. I haven't yet exercised all the apps, but those that I have activated seem to work well. I would not hesitate to make another purchase from this vendor. Tom Flaherty, Ed.D.

I still think that android wear should be an independent system that feeds from an smart phone for mobility, but should be able to do everything like calendar, weather, contacts and original programs by itself (the processor is good enough for a low level smart phone itself, with enough memory, so why should not run small smart watch apps, specially if the OS would eat 1.5gb of the 4gb of flash rom). But taking that apart this is the best smart watch for the buck. Battery last more than 2 days of normal usage, more than one of heavy usage at least, and in sleep (aka theater mode) would spend less than 10% of battery a day, but if you are not planning to use it you could better put it off. The processor do the work, maybe the hand for seconds could be moving a little smother but otherwise the APU graphics are not disappointing. Only problem is the lack of autonomy of the OS but all wear have this problem been android, tizen, iOS, or any other apart of cheap smartwatch than run more complete builds of android an have sim cards and slots for for microsd cards. Hope that this would be the direction in the future. WiFi do the work as good as BT if you deactivated BT in your phone. Fast charge is really fast and you get full 100% in less than an hour. I could recommend this clock more that more expensive watches because they do the same and have the same processor and memories than the Zenwatch2 (except for the iWatch that use a faster processor usually with less autonomy like with their phones), because it looks good even if it is not round (it is more like an apple perspective, and the case is from steel and you could get a leather strap; a lot more than the aluminium case rubber band and 3 times more expensive apple watch), and the build quality is impressive, specially if you consider the cost, and is the cheapest smartwatch you could buy fron a brand with reputation (I think of this more like the fair price of all smartwatch), so is the best choice for testing if you would like the wear tendency (to call it someway) or not. Fit, I just don't really like it out, it sounds stupid, so I'm even glad without pulse meter. Delivery was really fair, even fast for normal delivery standards, no tax, and until now the watch has not failed, hope that continues that way. If not for the OS and the dependence of an smartphone, it would be a perfect product, but it's not fault of the watch for the tendency of the OSs so instead of 4.5 stars it would get full 5 for now.
