Lowered Production Quality

Great buy the first time about 2 years ago. Excellent sound. Great Those lasted about a year. Second buy, all cabling was noticeably flimsier. Left ear the cable deteriorated and fell off after 6 months of daily use. Third buy, the right ear stopped working after three months.

Great audio but poor quality cabling.

This is my second set I bought through a national supplier in Australia. I am in love with the audio quality, deep bass and multi spectrum feeling noise quality with these two speaker in ear phones. The cable looses its bending properties behind the ear and cable breaks inside then stops working. If I could buy extra cables as it allows for the ear pieces to be disconnected, I'll give it a higher rating.

Double drivers and an amazing experience

I wanted to try something better than before and got to this model due to pricing and its features. The double drivers are amazing and give a concert like experience when listening. Like big bass??- this model's got your back. If you're not into the bass stuff, no problem ;). Flexibility of the top part of the cable which goes behind the ears is great. But do mind the lower part which can curl and bend (see image) But, bottom line, if you want great sound on a budget (and the advantage of multiple drivers), don't hesitate on buying these phones

These earbuds are great, they sound amazing and fit nicely. They are not ideal to wear with glasses but will still work.

nice headphones for the active person

looking for a pair of headphones to run in....these buds have flexible but rigid ear wires that can be bent to ones own ear. buds stay in place while doing activities. at this price range these are exceptional buds

With its Dual Symphonic Drivers, the ATH-LS50iS "Live Sound" in-ear headphones deliver the sonic realism that will have you cheering like you're in the front row. The two 8.8 mm drivers are serially situated within each housing and driven simultaneously to reduce diaphragm distortion and generate a balanced sound with deep, rounded bass and clear mid and high frequencies.

The housings are constructed of durable ABS resin that helps to reduce unwanted resonance and the eartip posts are angled to provide a comfortable, sound-isolating fit. Within the posts are specially designed acoustic sound pipes, fashioned from stainless steel and high-durability resin, to guide the music to your ears with improved high-frequency response.

The ATH-LS50iS comes with a detachable 1.2 m (3.9') cable with A2DC (Audio Designed Detachable Coaxial) connectors at the headphones for exceptional durability and audio performance. The cable is equipped with an in-line mic and controller for handling phone calls and music and video playback. The flexible memory cable loops around the ears for a custom fit that is enhanced by the four sizes (XS, S, M, L) of included eartips.
