What truly distinguishes the ATH-M50xSTS-USB is its microphone design. Unlike typical broadcast headsets that use a highly directional dynamic mic, this model features a cardioid condenser adopted from our popular 20 Series microphone designs. This, along with an A/D converter with a sampling rate up to 24-bit/96 kHz, is placed at the end of a flexible boom arm for ideal positioning. This ensures consistent vocal presence without background noise, even as you move your head.
The headset's sidetone circuitry allows you to hear your own voice in the headset, controlled by a dial on the earcup, for a more natural, conversational feel. The mic can be muted quickly and efficiently by simply flipping the boom arm up.
The ATH-M50xSTS-USB comes with a 2m (6.6') permanently attached cable with a USB-A connection, and includes a USB-A to USB-C adapter for effortless plug-and-play connectivity to PCs and Macs.
