About Aviom AVIOM16/O-Y1
Find the perfect solution for expanding your Yamaha digital devices with the Aviom 16/o-Y1 A-Net Card. This high-performance output expansion card is designed specifically for Yamaha products that support the mini-YGDAI (MY) format, offering seamless direct digital connectivity.
The Y1 A-Net card is an essential tool for integrating your Yamaha digital devices with Aviom Pro16 products. It's compatible with a range of products, including the A-16II and A-16R Personal Mixers, A-16D and A-16D Pro A-Net Distributors, and the AN-16/o Output Module.
Designed to fit into any available expansion slot in the rear of Yamaha's digital consoles, the Y1 A-Net card also works harmoniously with the DME24N and DME64N Digital Mixing Engine products. These are often used to enhance the audio processing and routing capabilities of Yamaha's digital consoles.
The Y1 A-Net card is not just a single-use tool. You can use multiple Y1 cards simultaneously in a single console, dramatically extending the creative possibilities for both monitoring and signal distribution. Each Y1 card is capable of outputting up to 16 channels of 24-bit, 48kHz audio over a single Cat-5e cable.
For larger setups, up to 64 channels can be combined onto a single cable using Aviom's AN-16SB System Bridge. The Y1 card also offers the flexibility of linking channel pairs for stereo mixing on Pro16 Personal Mixers using a set of eight external DIP switches.
Additionally, the Y1 A-Net card comes equipped with mode switches for selecting 16-channel (MY16) and 8-channel (MY8) operation, catering to the slot specification of the Yamaha console. With the Aviom 16/o-Y1 A-Net Card, you can unlock the full potential of your Yamaha digital devices.
