After 2 weeks use, we are very satisfied with this product. Very good built-in reverb/delay package and easy to use, very intuitive. Working well with two stage boxes with AES50 cables. One thing I noticed that the fan sound is quite loud when it's on. I plan to reach out to the manufacture if there's any solution to minimize the fan sound.

Under the spotlight of innovation and versatility, the Behringer WING 48-Channel 28-Bus Full Stereo Digital Mixing Console, bundled with the ProX XS-BWING W Flight Case, redefines the landscape of personal mixing consoles. This advanced digital mixer is designed to cater to the dynamic needs of audio professionals, whether in live performance settings or studio environments.
The WING control surface is engineered with a large capacitive touchscreen interface, complemented by touch-sensitive rotary controls, offering an intuitive and seamless operational experience. Its three distinct fader sections and customizable controls allow users to tailor the console to their specific requirements. Whether you need a dedicated bus send fader adjacent to a channel fader or a "money" channel always within reach, the WING's flexibility ensures that your production workflow is optimized. Additionally, the console's wooden armrest can be replaced and customized to suit your aesthetic preferences.
At the heart of the WING's design philosophy is the concept of "Sources." Unlike traditional consoles that focus on input numbers, the WING emphasizes the Source, such as a bass drum signal or lead vocal, as the primary element of mixing. Each Source can be configured in mono, stereo, or mid-side mode, with adjustable headamp parameters like gain and phantom power. Sources can also be labeled with colors, icons, names, and tags for efficient grouping and filtering, ensuring a streamlined mixing process. The WING Co-Pilot app further enhances this functionality by allowing users to label Sources during stage patching, maintaining consistency across channels, SD recordings, and outputs.
The WING console supports all 48 input channels and 28 bus mixes for mono, stereo, or mid-side sources. Assigning a stereo source automatically configures the channel for stereo, with a stereo imager stage that controls width from 150% stereo to mono. Mode changes are seamless, requiring no reboot, and channel, bus, and subgroup configurations can be adjusted on the fly.
Incorporating legacy and innovation, the WING offers a suite of high-end plug-ins for gates, compressors, and equalizers, modeled after iconic hardware such as the Pultec EQ, SSL Bus Compressor, and Neve EQ. This ensures that every channel and bus benefits from superior audio processing capabilities.
Connectivity is a cornerstone of the WING's design, featuring 374 inputs and 374 outputs. It includes three AES50 SuperMAC audio networking ports, 48x48 USB audio channels, and 64x64 Audio over IP channels (with an optional AoIP module). The WING expansion card slot supports various standards, including ADAT, MADI, DANTE, and WSG, offering an additional 64x64 audio channels. The innovative Klark Teknik StageCONNECT interface provides 32 channels of 24-bit audio with sub-millisecond latency over a single microphone cable, potentially setting a new standard for XLR connectivity.
The console's pristine audio quality is ensured by incorporating eight original Midas PRO-Series microphone preamps and eight XLR outputs, delivering exceptional sound for both live and studio applications. The 8x8 TRS line auxiliary ins and outs facilitate connections with media players or computers, while the StageCONNECT interface allows for breakout box connections with up to 32 channels.
The WING's automixing feature, with two groups of gain sharing, is ideal for environments with multiple speakers, such as corporate events or panel discussions. It intelligently manages microphone levels to maintain low ambient noise and enhance intelligibility. Additional features include MIDI In/Out, 2x2 GPIO for event triggers, 40-bit floating point processing at 48 or 44.1 kHz, and dual solo/monitor buses for comprehensive monitoring options.
Networked remote control capabilities support binary and OSC communication, allowing for remote console management. This open architecture invites third-party application development alongside Behringer's cross-platform WING CO-PILOT app, ensuring that the WING console remains at the forefront of digital mixing technology.
